I'm keen to try it with my horse, but how do you do the first part - " marking the moment when he lies down at liberty" ? As in, how do you get them to lie down in the first place? Feel free to reply to my page if possible.

This is a great video! I'm in the process of teaching my Clydesdale mare how to lie down so it's easier to get on bareback. Thank you for posting this video and explaining your technique! So far I have her doing the preparation circles but that's about it.
