  • Resort to naming the Satanic Boogyman as an accomplice.

  • I support the Death Penalty in cases of calculated, downright blissful brutality perpetrated by undeniably guilty individuals.

What disturbed me so deeply in regards to Willingham's case was the Prosecution's hints at Occultism; namely Todd's skull tattoo and an Iron Maiden poster he chose to

decorate a wall with. We've heard

this before, namely in high profile cases of wrongly convicted individuals. The Cases are so weak, motive non-existent, prosecutors resort to naming the Satanic boogyma

  • The comments on this subject are quite enccouraging in terms of my mpressions of Americans. Although I was still revolted by what "Prick Berry" said when publically confronted with the possibilty that Todd was innocent - "He was a wife beater".

  • It is inconceivable to me that this prosecuter is now a judge. He is obviously one of those twisted Christians who makes his own judgments on people.

  • To be murdered by the government while being blamed for the death of his own children.. this is abhorrent. End the death penalty now.

  • fucking injustice

  • John Jackson is a total moron.

  • 3 Tradegies:

    1. The death of his family

    2. His death

    3. Suppressing the truth

  • Just the thought of a mistake in this should make everyone connected to it stop and rethink! The most worrying aspect is that those prosecuting cases like this are super confident that they are bang on the money. I wouldn't even jaywalk in Texas!!!!

  • @rostronc i like the way u think!

  • damn u texas i got nothing agisnt u exectuing criminal in fact i enjoy it but prevent the real expert and ignore the expert killing this dude knowing he didn cause the fire is undemocratic and unpatriotic i hope u lose the world series im from dallas

  • That persecutor needs to be killed

  • Watch the Movie, coming to a theater near you, and don't Risk Perry. These are strange times in America but we shall overcome again.

  • Don't Risk Perry.

  • wow .. executed a man for a crime he did not commit .. just like that .. mother f*ckers

  • Sorry to all the rest of the nation. Not all of us Texans are this dumb.

  • You must be kidding me... How can this guy have a job? With his theories...

  • dumbass christian rednecks go figure

  • I like Iron Maiden does that mean I worship satan???

  • This ain't the first innocent man killed and im sure it will not be the last

  • Too bad the reporter didn't finish the words that Willingham said before he died. This child murdering scumbag will get no pity from me.

  • @thereprieve

And what is it exactly that he didn't finish?

  • @azhliegh - The part where he called his wife, who stood by his side and testified in his defense, that she's a f"""ing cunt and he hopes that she burns in hell. Yeah, Willingham was a real class act.

  • @thereprieve

"Yeah, Willingham was a real class act."

What has that got to do with anything? Todd Willingham was hardly a saint by any standards, but are you seriously suggesting that that in itself is justification for putting a man to his death?

You said in a previous comment that he was a "child murdering scumbag". Exactly what evidence do you have to make that ridiculous assertion?

Seems to me that you're as depraved and bloodthirsty as you're trying to make him out to be.

  • @thereprieve

I suggest you google Trial by Fire by David Grann. It's a long read, but goes into much more detail about the reasons why the initial investigation was a farce. It also lists other incidents of mistaken arson such as the 'Terri Hinson' case.

Gerald hurst saved Terri Hinson from the death penalty and helped revolutionize the science of arson investigation. He knows more about fire dynamics than those idiots whose 'evidence' put an innocent man to his death.

    Educate yourself.

  • @0ptikz - I do not have the time or the patience to deal with a dead murderer. If there's something in that book that's not portrayed in this video, please bring it to light and I'll consider it. The only thing these folks have said is that the Fire Investigator's synopsis was wrong. But nary an explanation on why or how the fire started in the first place. And coincidentally blocked the children's door. Or why Willingham wouldn't let others go in to rescue his children.

  • @thereprieve ...Or why he was able to calmly move his car out of the way of the flames while his girls burned to death. Or why his bare feet weren't burned after supposedly having to run through the flames. Your book beter have answers to all thses questions, then I'll consider reading it.

    Thank you.

  • @thereprieve

Firstly, it's not a book, it's an online article, if you'd googled it you'd know that. Secondly, it goes into great detail as to the reasons why the synopsis was not only wrong, but based on junk science.

Also, it doesn't explain how the fire started, that's an impossibility at this point, seeing as the evidence has been destroyed. That isn't the point -- The point was to highlight how flawed the initial investigation was, and to raise reasonable doubt about his guilt.

  • @0ptikz - Okay, sorry I didn't google it but like I said, I have better things to do.

Do you agree that there's a difference between a court of law and the court of public opinion?

I could be wrong but I believe that even the prosecutor said his entire case wasn't built on the results of the fire investigation.

And, again I could be wrong, but a guy in Georgia was executed last night after appealing to both the SCOTUS and Obama. Obama has no less blood than Perry on his hands.

  • @thereprieve

Yes, I agree that there's a difference between a court of Law and public opinion. That's precisely the issue in this case...He was tried based off of opinions on his personality, not real evidence.

As just one example, the prosecution painted him as a sociopath and a potential satanist partially based on Iron maiden and Led Zeppelin posters he had in his house. It's fucking absurd.

If that doesn't set off major alarm bells in your mind, I don't know what will.

  • @thereprieve

    (continued)

What concerns me the most is how flippant you are over the state potentially murdering an innocent man, and how you're STILL calling him a murderer without even bothering to look at the article I suggested you read.

It answers every single one of the concerns you brought up, but hey, if you feel it isn't worth your time and effort, that's your call....just don't go around acting like you actually know anything about the case.

  • @0ptikz - I am absolutely against the death penalty because, without fail, someone will inevitably be wrongly executed. I am reading you article and am currently on pg 9 of 17. I have yet to read anything that changes my mind about not having any pity for him. But I'll keep reading so that I'm as informed as you are.

  • @thereprieve - All done and nope, I still have no pity for him. This article is blatantly one-sided. And it too left out the rest of his final words. The article says that he claimed to have broken out the windows of the girls bedroom. Then later contradicts itself to say that they blew out. This is obviously an opinion piece by David Grann. But lets not forget, by all counts of our judicial system, Willingham is guity and has been punished. Guilty men are set free in that system as well.

  • @thereprieve

"Guilty men are set free in that system as well."

Yes....and innocent men are also wrongfully convicted, so I don't see the point here. Also, I don't see how the article contradicts itself, seeing as it said that the girls room had five windows.

Anyway, it's clear you've made up your mind that he's guilty...what I want to know is based upon what evidence, and how it can be above a reasonable doubt, because for the life of me, I don't see it.

  • @thereprieve

"And it too left out the rest of his final words."

What do his final words have to do with his guilt or innocence? Since it wasn't a confession, you're just doing what you've been doing since I started this conversation with you -- namely arguing based on your personal distaste of Todd Willingham.

I watched a couple of your videos, and you seem like a reasonable guy, but in this instance, you're acting illogically.

  • @0ptikz - First and foremost, thank for watching my videos... didn't expect that... makes my day since I've been inactive for a while now.

My point about his guilt is that he was found guilty by a court of law. His appeals were upheld and exhausted. In the same manner that OJ Simpson, whether we like it or not, is not guilty of murder. Does that mean he didn't do it? No, but under our laws he did not murder Nicole. It's an imperfect system, why?, because it's run by imperfect people...

  • @thereprieve - This is a tragic consequence of people being ruled/governed by people. This is a consequence of capital punishment. I don't like it as much as you don't. If you know anything about the recent Troy Davis case in Georgia, the evidence against him was less compelling that what's been presented against Willingham. And Davis appealed to Obama... who did exactly what Rick Perry did... nothing.

It's up to people like us to end the death penalty. Not because we feel sorry for one...

  • @thereprieve ... person in particular. But because it's morally wrong. The possibility that 1 person pays the ultimate price due to the mistake and the theater of others is 1 too many. And we must draw a line in the sand. The death penalty is the only penalty that, once enforced, cannot be made right.

I don't fee sorry for Willingham becasue he was guilty. I feel sorry for his little girls who may have been murdered by their father. I feel sorry, collectively, for all people sentenced to die.

  • @thereprieve

Fair enough. We agree on some things, and disagree on others -- That's understandable. I would like to thank you for the reasonable discussion we've had, it's a rare thing when it comes to the youtube comment section.

Anyway, take care of yourself man, and I might run into you sometime in the future.

  • @0ptikz - The pleasure was certainly all mine. I hope our paths cross again... or maybe we find ourselves on the same path again someday.

May peace and grace be with you.

  • @thereprieve Too bad YOU left out the part where she was at that point his EX-wife, and that she initially sided with him, but later changed her mind and publicized her change of heart.

  • @richardtheconquerer - Too bad she only testified one way in court. It doesn't matter if she later changed her mind, the court system only got one story from her.

  • @thereprieve What does that have to do with anything? She changed her mind, which essentially says she thinks her husband killed their children. Why exactly would he be happy about that?

  • Fuck RICK PERRY

  • I just can't believe that :S Without no evidence they kill a man. Only "evidence" they have is that he had beaten his wife in the past and that he listened to Iron maiden :D That's just crazy.. i hit my boyfriend once and later apoologised and i love metal music.... so i must kill my kids.

  • Unreal. This is why I hate prosecutors. They don't give a fuck whether you are really innocent or not. They think everyone is guilty. Fuck them.

  • @Ianmakingvideos Please don't group all Texas with those scum. Not all Texans ignore science and logic.

  • @stevenbigguns yeah sorry there are some priddy cool people from texas.

  • for anyone who knows the sociopath, that's exactly what this guy was - that judge was square on 7:34. those reporters can use guilt and manipulation tactics on him all they want, trying to make his analysis sound silly changes nothing about the case, or his ability to judge. when he said 'beyond a doubt', he meant it. they make mention of all these supposed experts that prove it wasn't arson yet, where are they? stop feeling bad for ted bundys - get educated about criminal minds.

  • Comment removed

  • @MrCowboyJesus his assessment was accurate. what you are missing, and i'm sure deliberately, is that willingham was guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. one thing I know is that criminal always defend their own -no criminal is guilty if you ask them. your words in any quantity mean squat.

  • @VisioninScience Found guilty on forensic evidence that was debunked.

    He was innocent.

Prosecutors like that one have only one goal in mind and that is to further their won careers. And if a few innocent people die, so what?

This is the right wing mentality. Kill them all and let God sort them out.

  • @VisioninScience guilty beyond ALL reasonable doubt. There was doubt. the useless investigators knew nothing about how fire works and acts. They were taking there own distorted religious beliefs and seeing a man who didn't follow there way and killed him. And I say distorted because any person who believes in god and either forces it on others and/or thinks every who doesn't believe there way should rot in hell cos they're wasting my oxygen. Everyone is free to believe what THEY want themselves.

  • Jackson, the Prosecutor in the case was a sociopath and a murderer. He took an totally contrived case and used it to kill an innocent person. When this bastard gets to hell, I am sure that Wellingham will then get justice. And maybe that moronic investigator and Rick Perry will join him down there!

  • @VisioninScience 1) They interviewed the leading fire science expert IN THE VIDEO. Go back and look

    2) The prosecutor himself admits IN THE VIDEO that what they used to determine the cause of the fire was flawed.

  • There are so many idiots in positions of power in America. Fucking barbarians.

  • @Max404s I am american and every day I am more and more amazed at how backwards my country has gotten. If that murderer Perry ever becomes President than I think this country will go straight to hell.

  • @MrCowboyJesus - You must be new here... it's been hell for 2 1/2 years now.

  • @MrCowboyJesus you said what i feel

  • How can they have the death penalty when the justice system still allows these type of mistakes?

An innocent man was executed FFS. With capital punishment, there IS NO ROOM FOR ERROR.

Mistakes still get made. The arrogance of that prosecutor is overwhelming. Sends and innocent man to die and despite the evidence won't admit his mistake.

He has blood on his hands in my opinion.

  • what the fuck, america?

  • I can't believe this, what's going on overseas??

  • he beat his wife? fuck him.

  • Hallowed Be Thy Name Mr. Willingham... Hallowed Be Thy Name sir

  • Jackson, Perry, Fogg and Vasquez have blood on their hands

  • Everyone should research Rick Perry's hand in the action and aftermath of this...

  • @Blayzefyre Though no other court tried to stop this. The only thing a governor can do is prolong an execution by thirty days.

  • ok this isnt funny that man actually gets to decide another human beings fate?

  • This case is a perfect example of why the death penalty is a bad idea. Once you kill someone, you can't take it back

  • Stupid, stupid jury. I wonder how they sleep at night?

  • I can't believe the jury brought this crap. The prosecution used the guy's Iron Maiden poster as evidence he was a satanist and tried to present fire spead evidence as a pentagram. They were either over-reaching, or they are all religious nuts or something.

  • Cameron was in bed asleep suffercating to death from smoke inhalation ,when he was saved by his 3 year old daughter waking him up, It was the neighbours that called the fire brigade , an undisputed fact , In the time it took for the fire brigade get to the house, the fire was well ablaze,It was then Cameron only then was forced out of the house , smoke quickley builds up , you cannot see the nose in front of your face, Cameron was forced by firefighters & priest from re enetering Innocent RIP

  • @bilaczenko What I mean is with a fire like that, absolutely no one could remain in the house without an oxygen respirator, the reason why Cameron was and was seen comming out of the house in the time taken for neighbours and fire to arrive, is because he was asleep during the fire and only woken by his 3 YO daughter.Cameron is innocent RIP

  • @bilaczenko Smoke

  • That prosecutor needs to wipe that fucking smirk off of his face.

  • I hope someone kills that judge. Fuck everything about this.

  • The interviewer nearly cries at 8:18.

    Fuck everything about this.

  • The prosecutor is one of the most complete manipulative individuals you will ever find.

  • I love the look on the interviewer's face when the prosecutor starts talking about devil worship. He's like, "What the FUCK are you talking about?"

  • Satan manipulates science from hell!!!!!! Don't believe science!

  • I love the look on the reporters face when he asks why they thought Mr. Willingham was a Satanist.

  • God damn manipulative ghosts. I can feel him manipulating me from the grave this very moment! CURSE YOU TODD WILLINGHAM!!! In all seriousness, religion needs to go. Unless of course it's like Buddhism and isn't intrusive.

  • The reporters face when the prosecutor says that the man is a devil worshipper is priceless.

  • I just wish people in comments weren't such dumb asses. I'm not even from Texas, but come on, don't apply a dumb prosecutors views to an entire fucking state.

  • You know it is a quality journalist when he can say the phrase. "Yes, there was a suspicious flammable liquid near where the family kept the grill and lighetr fluid." without being condescending.

  • 3:17 How the fuck does a guy like this become a "credible" prosecutor let alone a judge? What happened to "beyond a reasonable doubt. Why did they even bother with a trial? So my second thought is if Todd didn't deserve a fair trial, can we just sentence this prosecutor/judge and the governor to death for being completely negligent in regard's to this man's life?

  • @ 8:23 This prosecutor made me sick to me stomach.

  • Sound redneck going "YUP, I'M CONVINCED I'm NOT WRONG." Not very helpful, bro.

  • So, Texas executes people for their taste in music or perceived religious views? Stay classy Texas.

  • What a cocksucker: "I think he's one of the most manipulative individuals that you'd ever hope to find."

Bitch! I think you're one of those manipulative individuals that I'd ever hope to find, cocksucker.

  • RELIGION IS BAD, PEOPLE.

  • Cheese and Rice, do any of those fucks in Tx even bother using denture cream?

Investigator and Prosecutor both have slipping plates from hell. I think they're just pissed because they can't chew their food and lisp with everything they freaking say now.

  • Prosecutor: "I don't think Todd Willingham ever told the truth to anybody. About anything. He is one of the most completely manipulative individuals you could ever hope to find. He is still manipulating us from his grave."

*smiles*... after executing an innocent man... what a pig.

  • Rick Perry... *epicfailfacepalm*

  • may the judge and investigator burn in hell, christian my ass

  • I hope somebody *beats the living shit* out of that prosecutor who is now a judge.

  • What the hell. The accused's taste in music has absolutely no place in a trial. It shouldn't be mentioned at all. What's wrong with this guy? He's just scared of music he knows nothing about.

  • @NymphetamineGirl777 Check out Paradise Lost: The Child Murders at Robin Hood Hills, and Paradise Lost II: Revelations. The West Memphis Three, as they are known, were teenagers who were railroaded by the Arkansas judicial system due to "Satanic Panic" in the late 80's early 90's. They had long hair, listened to Metallica and wore black, so they were automatically guilty and have been in prison for nearly 20 years for a crime they didn't commit. It's not uncommon in the south apparently...

  • I like the interviewers face when the prosecutor was saying that the dude worshiped satan based on him liking iron maiden.

  • No prosecutor is going to admit they fucked up on a case.

  • Who the fuck doesn't like Iron Maiden?

  • I love the investigators faces in these interviews. They always have the "are you fucking kidding me?" look.

  • "From God's dust I came..." yeah, sounds like devil worship to me.

  • Jesus fucking christ, that guy is stupid "duhh, he liked the heavy metal music which, uh, my momma told they be those devil worshippin musak-shishans"

  • 0:12 We now know that he is innocent however, this picture doesn't do him any favours.

  • Hill-billy lawyer

  • @apples13able Probably like the one who impregnated the whore who gave birth to you.

  • "In 2010, Willingham's ex-wife publicly declared "Todd murdered Amber, Karmon and Kameron. He burnt them. He admitted he burnt them to me, and he was convicted for his crime. That is the closest to justice that my daughters will ever get."

    - Wikipedia

  • @Jacobobi1 anyone in the world could write anything they want on wikipedia whether it's true or not. plus stacy has changed her mind about what happened countless times and even the prosecutor said he couldn't make heads or tails of anything she said or didn't say.

  • @aj19bcx Enter "Todd Willingham case in recess" in Youtube search and hear the mother of the 3 murdered baby girls say exactly what is posted in wikipedia. She does not appear to be conflicted in the least about what she has to say.

  • i love that the interviewer is askin the prosecutor questions in a manner where as he is askin the question his tone is like "are you fucking kidding me you idiot"

  • What a Nazi Fascist state Texas is. The great state of Texas gave us George W Busch..... God help us if Gov.Rick Perry runs for president and wins......

  • @Larrymolek1 What state full of gentle geniuses do you live in, you completely miserable asshole?

  • the title is a fucking lie

  • he wasn't put to death, nor executed, his sentence was not carried out- he was murderered by the state, under the watch of rick perry- who was just voted in for another term as texas dictator. call it what it is damn it!

  • @mattybock Another one to add to our litany of sins as a nation. We're certainly not as squeaky clean as we'd like the rest of the world to believe!

  • this asshole is smiling after killing a man.

  • The US is a very dangerous place to be prosecuted in! It's absolutely nothing like the EU. In the EU where Western Law was invented thousands of years ago it's carried out properly unlike the infantile US. Most if not all of the US insititutions are badly run due to poor staffing. You had your run of 50 years, Europe's taking back the number one spot, we've recovered from ww2 and joined together. We already worth trillions more than the US anyway.

  • @FieldMarshalRommel23 In USA you don´t have to go to law school to become a judge. That´s the result you get. Judges that will judge based on what they believe and not on evidence. In Brazil it´s similar to Europe.

  • @FieldMarshalRommel23 LOL keep dreaming Eurotrash. Dumbass using lies and half truths to promote your cultural narcissism.

  • @itachi705 I'd rather get prosecuted in Thailand than US.

  • @FieldMarshalRommel23 OK, have fun being prosecuted for speaking against the king, because obviously you can't do that in the U.S. Oh wait...

  • Bible Belt science... not the greatest science.

  • 10/05/10 - CNN reports today that a judge to review conviction in Texas arson-murder case however Rick Perry the gov issued statement that His then-wife has told reporters that he admitted his guilt to her while on death row. Also his conviction was reviewed & upheld by multiple levels of Texas state courts and 9 Federal courts including four times by the U.S. Supreme Court.

I hope with all of my being that the truth comes out and if found innocent they prosecute without restraint.

  • RICK PERRY AND THIS JUDGE ARE COVERING UP SOMETHING I HOPE AND PRAY THE FBI AND WHO EVER ELSE WILL EXPOSE THIS AND THEY ARE REMOVED FROM OFFICE , ANY PERSON THAT SENDS A MAN TO DEATH BECAUSE HE HAS TATOOS OF IRON MAIDEN IS NO BETTER THAN THE DEVIL HIMSELF , I DON'T LIKE THAT KIND OF MUSIC OR TATOOS BUT TO ACCUSE AND PUT A MAN TO DEATH OVER THAT IS SICK AND THEY WOULDN'T EVEN LOOK AT NEW EVIDENCE SOMETHING IS ROTTEN IN THAT TOWN AND I THINK WE ALL KNOW WHO THEY ARE . MAYBE THEY NEED TO BE IN JAIL

  • I THINK RICK PERRY AND THIS IDIOT JUDGE IS HIDING SOMETHING AND I ALSO BELIEVE THAT THEY NEED TO BE INVESTIGATED BY THE FBI AND BROUGHT UP ON CHARGES , THIS JUDGE IS A TOTAL IDIOT TO JUDGE SOMEONE ON THIER TATOOS , GOD HELP US ALL , HE SENT A MAN TO DEATH ON THAT. AND THEN TO SAY HE'S COMFORTABLE WITH THAT I PRAY THIS CLOSET SKELETON IS BLOWN OPEN.

  • What is with the prosecutor's shit eating grins throughout the entire interview?

  • Don't trust the media, especially in this case.

  • @oeyesea Yeah don't trust the media, especially when they actually do a service to the community by reporting actual scientific evidence, and expose the fact that this man was executed not because of facts, but because he wasn't a right wing 'christian' - he listened to HEAVY METAL! That makes him likely to be a DEVIL WORSHIPER!

Right wing 'christians', in feeling so comfortable with killing innocent people in the name of politics and religion, look more and more like the Taliban.

  • Christ - that texan judge was bizare....to think people like that hold power and life and death, based on their own personal prejudices.

To say having heavy metal tattoos made him more likely to be a sociopath is an opinion NOT a fact and opinons have NO place in a court room.

Is Texas 100 years in the past or something?

  • Why should we obey any police commands when we are falsley being accused and arrested of a crime we didn't commit. All innocent people should fight and/or run for your life, because this justice system really sucks, and was founded by the Devil. Innocent people have spent precious youthful moments, decades of their lives behind bars, and executed with the flimsiest of evidence, and no proof at all. America is insane and evil, to execute anybody is arrogant and it is murder. Many cops murder.

  • the US army routinely murder civilians as these leaked reports show, so does it come as any surprise they also execute innocent american citizens?

'he liked iron maiden...... the mans a devil worshipper... he must die!!!!' from a senior texas judge!!!!

God help texans with this asshole in charge.

  • I think they murdered his so all the people involved should be put to death they killed him so they should have the same.

  • If they say there innocent dont execute them

  • Also, "no proof of innocence"? Sorry, but our legal system doesn't work that way (or at least it was never supposed or intended to, but asshole prosecutors like the ones involved in this case have a RICH HISTORY of breaking their own rules, so...), you're not guilty until proven innocent, you're innocent until proven guilty, and since modern science discredited virtually ALL claims of his guilt, it logically follows that he was NEVER proven guilty to begin with, hence he was innocent.

  • To which two people did he confess to? and how do you certainly know he was not innocent of arson charges?

  • i think the reason jackson thought willingham to be manipulative is because willingham contradictid the investigation. once the investigation was discredited jackson didn't remember why he thought willingham was manipulative, just that he was.

  • Who cares whether he was manipulative? That ain't a crime. Killing your kids is. He confessed to a cellmate and his ex wife.

  • anyone can claim that someone confessed to them. if i lied and told police that you confessed murder to me should that get you executed? no because it wouldnt prove anything. since every last shred of evidence against him has been discredited all that is left is the presumption of innocence, the backbone of our constitution.

  • Cute argument, but no. Confessions alone can convict people if they dispel reasonable doubt. The fire did occur. The guy confessed to two people. Whether he used lighter fluid or not isn't important.

  • @JohnScott700

Wrong, his ex wife has stated NUMEROUS times that he NEVER confessed to the arson, and FYI, jailhouse snitches have been known to lie and give false confessions from the defendant during trial to receive a lesser sentence. Jailhouse snitch testimony is BY FAR the LEAST credible type of evidence one can present during ANY trial. And again, just because they CLAIM he confessed (which his ex wife never did) doesn't prove anything; evidence that you can't show to others is NOT proof!

  • @Headhunter004 "In October 2009 Willingham's former wife Stacy Kuykendall issued a statement that shortly before his death Willingham had confessed to starting the fire."

  • @JohnScott700

    newyorker(dot)com/online/blogs/newsdesk/2009/10/stacy-kuykendall-statement(dot)html

That so-called "confession" (which, BTW, NOWHERE in that statement did she specifically claim he confessed) was issued in her name in an affidavit by her brother in-law. Stacy herself claimed, according to every other article, that there was never a confession. The New Yorker article, "Trial by Fire" also points out how she failed to look at the expert arson report when she stopped believing him.

  • @Headhunter004 I know your pain, man. I feel for you. You want to believe the state killed and innocent man, and you're willing to dismiss every confession he made. Shoot, he could have it on video and you'd still say the video was part of the conspiracy. Read Stacy's full statement for yourself, and if you still want to believe that dead dude was innocent, go for it. It's a free country, mate.

  • @JohnScott700 and your grasping at straws while all the evidence against him is discredited, and when you are cornered you resort to accusing people of being in denial. the truth is that every last shred of physical evidence against him has been disproved, the witnesses contradict each other so much it's not even funny, the prison snitch is a psychotic nutjob whose claims aren't worth a damn, and stacy has said numerous times he never confessed to her.

  • correction: you're not your

  • @aj19bcx Read Stacy's statement for yourself, kiddo. And dude, I feel your pain. I know the desperation you're feeling. You're panicked and on the verge of tears - I know! Don't worry, man, sooner or later those capitalist bastards will kill an innocent man, and then we'll have the last laugh.

  • @JohnScott700 so once again you are resorting to attacks, trying to imply that i am in denial, panicked and on the verge of tears rather than stick to the debate. people who have a valid point don't need to resort to personal attacks. i have read the statement, and the numerous others that contradict it. besides that, it makes no sense that after confessing and asking for forgiveness, he would use his last words (recorded, unlike this alleged confession) to profess his innocence.

  • @aj19bcx I've responded to your private messages and I am not inclined to repost them here.

  • @JohnScott700 also one statement where his brother in law basically says "she told me that he told her..." (ever played telephone) is hardly proof beyond a reasonable doubt. and for the record i would prefer to believe he was guilty, i hate it when innocent people are wrongly accused, but i must go by the evidence.

  • @aj19bcx

That's just gossip. In law, it is called "hearsay" and it is not admissible except in the most unusual and compelling of circumstances (such as a dying declaration)..

  • @patrickcorliss tell him.

  • He confessed to his ex wife before being executed. Get over it.

  • unlike his ex wife, the new report has real physical evidence to back it up. anyone can lie and say a person confessed to them when they didn't.

  • No evidence of his innocence, just good cause to doubt some of the evidence of his guilt.

  • This story literally made me cry angry tears. Rick Perry squashed the investigation into the execution and claimed to be the "victim". Rick Perry is scum. I don't know how these people sleep.

  • My heart goes out to this mans family, I believe and many more also do, this prosecutor, rather than admit to a mistake, will fucking stick with the story to the end, this is evil... I believe...

  • What an ignorant shit this prosecutor is...

  • @VercingetorixXIII

I don't know what's worse. The prosecutor or the judge who allowed his arguments.
