  • Check out my simple but fun tom fills and rock beats!

  • what hi hats are those? do you like them? thanks =)

  • @WillKills7 They are Sabian Paragon 13" hats -- Neil Peart's signature series and YES, I love them. I have the 14" versions as remote hats on my right.

  • You said at 5:02 that there is a spring on the hi-hat, and that the tighter you have it the more sound it makes when it releases and stops. My hi-hats make the same sound. Could you tell me where you can adjust the spring, so I can experiment with it? Thanks

  • @FamiPunk I've had three -- all Pearl, and they basically have a little black collar near the bottom that rotates to tighten or loosen.

  • Your "developed into..." is basically in a reverse order...

  • hoho monkey hahaha

  • what kind of snare is that

  • Is that a huge goddamn cowbell?

  • @m00sevark It is a pretty big cowbell, but amazingly, quite high in tone. since it is very broad but not too deep.

  • @Pauliewanna I have Sabian Pro Sonix hats, and they don't give a good squelching sound. It may be that I just don't have the technique down very well, but just curious what your hats were.

  • At about 4:20 are you playing with the tip to do the squelches?

  • @rabiddaffy no, pretty much the shoulder, but a little closer to the end.

  • :D your hi hat sounds so cute :D haha :P

    awesome
