What a way to start the morning.. watching the percolator go.. hehe. Though, I never cared for coffee, I appreciated the machine that gave it. The most simple sounds of life provided by the best instrumental rock band of the 60s and 70s. The Ventures were Top drawer, giving us music that was fun and great to listen to. Even fun to dance to.

This tune pre-dates surf and it sounds like a percolator. A lot of Ventures stuff is covers of early instramentals.

Amen to that! I don't know how he was able to produce the complex sounds with the drums that he did, but he did. A one-of-a-kind drummer that will never be replaced.
