I remember lazy, hazey summer holidays back in the early 70's, in and around Cromer.A week of the summer holidays would be spent camping in Norfolk and would always end up in lovely Cromer.I seem to remember the campsite was very close to the cliffs and having to dice with death negotiating a near vertical wooden stairway down to the beach.I couldn't imagine the stairway being there nowdays(H+S and all that) or is it? would love to know if anyone remembers them. Thanks for great pics.
It was too wet to come to Overstrand at the weekend. Instead we closed the curtains, turned the lights on full - found and enjoyed your beautiful film........over and over...
Thanks for giving us a better bank holiday weekend.
Some absolutely superb images, very pro'. I'm an old Overstrand boy so I am all too familier with the images you've captured. I love to walk to Cromer along the beach and back via the golf course, so peaceful and you've caught that totally. Well done, good choice of music too, fits just right.
Thanks for this, my father was born here, and consequently on passing away here in SA we sent his ashes back with my brother, so dad is somewhere in the bluebell woods up on the cliffs! great memories, thanks again
Love the photography! Cromer is a beautiful place laced with history. It's where I filmed some of my music videos a few years back, great fun! Come over check them out.
Hi, I took up this hobby just a few months ago. The camera is a Kodak Z650, (I am currently saving to upgrade to an SLR), none of the shots are altered, what you see is what you get.
I live in canada and I still miss cromer beach
