  • My baby wouldn't stop crying, then I tried this, and amazingly it worked with the Kitchen tap! But I still couldn't get her to sleep in her Moses basket, so I carried the basket to the bathroom, ran the shower, amazingly it worked again, and I carried the basket back to the bedroom. And she's still asleep! Can't wait to show this to my wife tommorow morning! Brilliant!

  • I thought the guy in the video was going to snap his fingers and the baby would fall asleep right away like Mr. Bean does with his teddy bear. Sincerely, Rowan Atkinson.

  • What to do after the tap is off and he starts crying again? You can't keep it on all the time, can you.

  • this method will run up the utility bill !!

  • that's because they relax in the mothers womb with that sound. :-)

  • chlorophorm worked for me

  • The baby is adorable!

  • the baby's thinking 'shut up or you'll be going in that water soon'

  • his water bill must be high...

  • at first when he held the kid like he did and when he said this is how to stop them from crying a thought he was going to hit the kids head on the sink i was scared

  • or you could breastfeed him.

  • SUCH A CUTIE PIE BABY!!!!!!!!!!

  • i wish i can try this but we pay for water..hehe

  • @SimplementeMaravilla you can put a can below of the water so you can save it and use it for other thing

  • adorable baby!

  • he is sayin WAAAA WAAA that means tired

  • aww omg such cute baby :D

  • Waste of water,..just hold him close and make a "shhhhh" sound in his ear..you dont waste electricity or water, lol

  • the water sound reminds the baby of the sound in the womb. so he stops crying.

  • Or you could buy a Miracle Blanket. It works just about every time for just about every baby. We use it and it works like magic. We were convinced by all the videos here on YouTube. It worked so well and we are so excited, we feel it's our duty to tell everyone.

  • Thats good untill u turn off the tap, what then? run the vacuum, these vids are all just a quick fix for the short term. Sometimes you just gotta let them cry

  • and you say Meow and the baby will be hungry lol

ps: I am sorry, I know that was horrible, but I couldnt help hahahahahaahahaha

  • You can buy the nature sound moniters there pretty cool they have all types water falls, rain, birds etc.

  • What a cute baby.

    Well, that was easy.

  • Just put some water in your mouth and make a sucking motion like a wine taster would by the baby that will make him stop crying ive seen this on videos and it seems to work well.

  • You are right! That sound mimics the sounds of the mothers womb but YOU CAN CREATE THE SAME WITH YOU TV!!. Please consider the ammount of WATER YOU ARE WASTING!!! PLEASE PEOPLE TAKE CARE OF OUR PLANET!! Babies cry all the time we can not waste THOUSANDS OF LITERS OF WATER, Thanks! Val. Mother of three. PS: If you dont have TV make a "hush" sound, lol

  • yeah, ok, but the energy used for making the tv work, derives from what?

  • @nopeje Water is Infinite. Chill

  • @Artlesslb Unless you are from another world, Water IS NOT INFINITE. In fact there is a WATER CRISIS on the making. We all humans need fresh and clean water to survive. I hope you take the time to inform yourself better. There is plenty articles on that topic out there.

  • You sound like a reasonably smart guy. Choose your battles wisely. Obviously water is short in certain places of the world. But the fact of the matter is, it pretty much is infinite in supply, there's absolutely no way we can drain all of the water on earth. So just let this go, I'm sure Artlesslb was just saying that we won't deplete the supply. Like he said, just chill.

  • Hey Tony! You sound like a resonable smart guy too :0) So I guess that for someone like you is not hard to understand my point. Ok, there is a lot ok water but most of it is SALT water so we CAN'T drink it, I just feel unfair to waste clean water when every day hundreds of kids die due to lack of water. If you want to chill good for you. I just hope that at least ONE person gets it and spread the word. You can do the same with the static on your TV, your baby will sleep with no waste at all.

  • Yes, you're absolutely right, but my point was that he didn't mean it in that way. And relying on something like this to stop a baby from crying is an insult to anyone's parenting skills. Yes there is a shortage of water around the world, but realistically, this isn't the case in the US. Since the water that goes in your drain gets processed and clean and comes back. But agreed, it's still a waste, not every one thinks that way though.

  • Thanks Tony for being so understanding, I hope that lots of people get the same message. :o) Good luck!

  • Water recycles itself. You've almost certainly drank water that was drank by Jesus or Muhammad or MLK Jr. or dinosaurs... Don't worry too much about that. If you want to conserve something for the sake of our planet, buy an electric car or lower your heating bill - it'll do more good than avoiding water.

  • here is how you stop a baby from crying...first you hold it's neck up so that it doesn't break of it's shoulders

  • it simulates the sound it heard for months while in the womb. I found that my older brothers kid would stop crying when it heard a TV on a static channel.

  • WOW I will have to tell my cousin!!

  • it worked 4 my little cousin thanks

  • OMG CUTE :D

  • lol your comment is evil but it's my kind of humor!!

  • it doesnt work on all babies

  • he was hungry, the sound maybe calm he down for a while...

  • i'm pretty sure anyone with common sense checks if their uncomfortable, hungry, or wet. babies like noises like this, it's what they hurt in mama.

  • heard* wtf :|

  • it' doesn't work

  • He totally wet himself

  • yay for water and power bill. lol

  • it was just a support..

  • He is holding the babys head up at the right way, what do you think? If he would hold his head the baby can fall easier.

  • if water relaxes your bub, put a small (and safe) fishtank in their room. that way you get a nice night light and relaxing water sound at the same time.

  • Amazing!

  • so cute

  • my mom used to play loud music and I'd be like in la la land listening to it, today I do the same thing

  • my water bill will be high as hell lol lol

  • LMFAO... I have a newborn ( 1 week old) and the damn water works everythime. My neighbors (live in an apartment) have asked what I am doing running the water at odd hours in the night... but dang, ya it works...

  • man why didnt i think of anything like this when my girl was little .. lol.. i just tucked her in a real tight wrap and she was out but .. usually only worked when she was going night night .. Damnit ! lol .. Such a pretty baby though!

  • I think the sounds calms these baybays down.

    Awesomerteriffericness yo. xD

  • wow haha soo cute!

  • wow, cool.

  • I was told by my mum that I would fall asleep to the sound of our washing machine!

  • doesn't it have something to with the noises the baby hears in the womb?? i completwly made that up but it makes sense

  • Yes because it's very loud with white noise inside the womb so the silence is strange to them. It only works for the first few months tho.

  • dude... calm down. its obviously not torturing the fucking baby. and really, how loud is a tap anyways?

jesus. quick to point the "child abuse" finger arent we?

  • no. it would cry more if it was hurting it

  • lol what about when the mother showers the tapping on her belly would be loud being that the sound waves bounce in her bellay

  • i've got your point..now calm down.... he's not torturing the baby... i've seen mommies doing this..it works...there's even a gadget available now that imitates the sound of a "WATER FALL/"

  • I stopped crying when my mom dropped me on the floor

  • Lmfao "watdoejebigtime" I bet u did

  • haha with a name like "watdoejebigtime" I'm not gonna doubt that

  • Comment removed

  • its white noise effect .. same thing with vacume cleaner, air condition or hair dryer .. actually anythign that makes bwrm or swush sound :) .. i used to love vaccume cleaners when i was baby

  • LOL, how do you remember? XDD

Probably they told you, but it sounds funny :P

  • I stopped crying when my mom would turn the vacuum. XD

  • hahahahaha

  • lol

  • cant beliere it worked O.O

  • Such a cute baby.

Oh yeh, Lullabies always helped me.

    Classical music.

    Pachelbel Chopin, Bach, Beethoven, etc.

  • waisting water lolz

  • ummm.....ok weirdo

  • lolz i noe rite!!!

  • O my water bill!!!

  • Excellent! Does this also work when someone with no talent feels like singing?

  • It depends on whether or not the person actually sings.

  • this actually does work. i used to do this to my daughter about 2 yrs ago.

  • I would use the old trick for my twins. I would set them on the dryer. and I would just do laundry while they were asleep.

  • oh goodness, for a minute there I thought he was going to waterboard him.

    Just kidding!

  • rofl it really works?! i should try it sometimes

  • or you could try holding him close to you and giving a little affection, that may work too

  • i think the idea is nosies that sound like motion or something.. the infant remember's the inside it mommy's stomach....i mean if i had to be inside a someomes tummy for a good part of a year... i'd get to hear some sound that are always around.... maybe the water remind the baby when it's mommy took a wiz.

  • Yeah. Easy for you people that arent on water restrictions.

  • The only reason he proberly stopped crying is because that water make him pee on his hand O_O

  • also try the hair dryer and vacuum cleaner and hair dryer we have a four year old and a 5 week old both are brilliant. your baby is gorgeous x

  • it is called whitenoises the things that the baby hears inside the utero and outside the utero that will calm the baby down without the pacifier believe me it works

  • so much for water conservation, eh?

  • cute baby =D

  • i think usually, i think of it as in a sound to make it piss, but seriously, it does, no wonder where my family gets them to stop crying
