  • thank you for sharing

  • Gluing it down is just too much, I take my wig off at night, most of the time I just clamp it on and shake-n-go :)

  • thank u ma (-:

  • does any of the lace relase damadge your hair line?? alos, when your taking of the tape, does it pull any of your hair out?? great vid by the way!!

  • @watsnot2adore21 Leaving the wig on too long, example longer than 1 to 2 weeks. Also, I would recommend using a wig cap to help protect your edges.

  • do they sell adhesive removers in normal beauty supply stores

  • Thank you so much for your demonstration, you were thorough, precise and to the point unlike most that i have seen : )

  • @Travisthemonkey Thank you.

  • Did you clamp it in the back?

Do you have any posts on applying the adhesive and the wig?

  • @mdfgk Currently I do not use wig clips to clamp down the back hairline. However, I have done it in the past. I also have video on how to attach with tape adhesive.

  • does that hurt?

  • @nicolesamsonite No, but I would use alot of product to help loosen up the adhesive

  • Wow u are beautiful w/o the wig. Thank you for sharing. You are stunning.

  • @Lakota505 Wow... Thank you.. :-)

  • thank you, but did u know that u looked better without the wig. you so hottttttttt

  • thank you so much for posting this - i've never wore a lace front. in fact its been sitting in the bag for the past week. i am now confident (slightly -lol) to try this

  • yur prettier wit out da wig..

  • @aaliyahXOXO Thank you so much. I appreciate your comment.

  • does the adhesive not ruin your hairline?

  • @BahamianGal1 The adhesive can if you leave your wig on to long and the wig begins to slide and grab a hold of your hairs along your front hairline.

Also, if you do not remove it properly. Please take your time when removing your wig.

  • does the adhesive not ruin your hairline?

  • @BahamianGal1 It will if you leave wig on too long. Because as the tape begins to break down from sweat, the wig will slowly move backwards and begin to pull on your natural hair. I would recommend using a wig cap and removing your wig every two weeks or every week depending on your activity level.

  • Yes, you really are beautiful, with a sweet voice.

    God bless you.

  • @123superg Thank you. :-)

  • Thank you! I was trying to decide if I should wear a lace front. I was afraid of the removal, but you make look easy.

  • @miapearl22 Thank you and I'm glad I was helpful.

  • Thank you! I was trying to decide if I should wear a lace front. I was afraid of the removal, but you make look easy.

  • ~very helpful~

  • ياعلج ماتربحين يالقرعه !!!

    thanx aloooooooooooooooooot,,,

  • would I have to cut all my hair off to apply a lace font? I'm looking for something to wear while i grow out my natural hair? (too many perms)

And could the adhesive be removed daily to shower?

  • @BeautyLuvsDaBeast The full lace wig is the perfect option to use if you decide to cut hair down and start over again.

  • @BeautyLuvsDaBeast I wouldn't remove wig daily because it is time consuming but it can be done if your committed to doing this.

  • Hello, your removal instructions were very helpful indeed. Thank you so much! Take care :)

  • how long can lace wigs last with the glue or tape?

  • @downgirl123 - a safe time period for an attachment is 2 weeks. I always say to listen to your skin. If you start to itch alot, etc remove wig because the skin is saying too much bacteria has build up and this area needs to be washed and cleaned.

  • hi my mother went thru breast cancer and she wants to try it your video was very helpful on how we remove it i seen one on how to apply it with tape i think that ould be best., can you do a video on how to apply

  • Why is it u have no hair of ur own? was it so that ur wigs looked flatter on ur head, or is it medical? If neither - does wearing the wig make ur hair fall out eventually?

  • @LadyGds - no I decided to cut hair back because it was so damaged from perms, color and simply mis treating my nature hair. My hair has grown back and it feels better but I enjoy wearing the wigs. Your hair doesn't fall out by wearing the wigs, however, if you remove the wigs incorrectly or leave on too long, you can damage your front and back hairlines

  • which product did u use to remove you lace

  • Tatee ....

I am taking a break from perming, so i will be wearing the wig every day /off at nites. I am curious ,will the glue damage my hair line over time?,and i see no glue build up on the wig which is good. Is there a way to wear the LFW without glue and make it look natural? ... Thanks

  • You are so pretty. You really don't need a wig. I always say, you know you're gorgeous when you can cut all your hair off and still look pretty. You look stunning without hair. Why bother with wigs, unless you just want to change it up? If not, girl just throw on some earrings and a little makeup and strut your stuff. But thinks for the tutorial. I never knew Beyonce was wearing one of those. I always wondered how she was able to change her hairstyles so quickly. You helped clear that up!

  • @WhereYaBoss Thank you so much... :-)

  • Does that damag your hair line? it looks like the tape would eventually?

  • If not removed properly, both Tape and Liquid will damage your hairline. A wig cap can be used to help protect your hairline.

  • hi there , my sister has been told she has cancer and she will lose her hair with cemo , watching your video has really made my mind up that i will buy a front lace wig for my sis. i will be also shaving my hair off as i have been bleaching my hair for years and now dont really have much . thank you so much , you have been very imsperational xxxx

  • Your welcome. She is blessed to have you there to help her through this. Take care.

  • um hello, i would like to know when the lace wig is on head do you just wash it like that or do you take it right off and would it smell bad if doing so and which products to use?

  • is it possible to use C-22 Citrus Adhesive Remover to remove both glue and tapes? or is it only useable for glue?

    o yeh great vid

    =]

  • Yes.....

  • I think you look better without the hair....you have the right shape head....

  • Thank you...

  • I am VERY scared to use any kind of glue!!! I don't want to keep it on for days, I just want it on every once in a while to give my hair a break from all the chemicals and heat I use!!!

Is there any way to keep it on without using glue and make it look natural???

  • Thanks very much!!!

  • at first i diddent kno your head was bald untill i read the comments. i thought yuh had on a really good wig cap. but i bet your hair did grow back really nicley ! And i can use your tips and hints when i get my lace wig done. Thanks.

  • wow thanks girl

  • this makes it so much easier... I've had this EXPENSIVE lace wig for six months now and I've been so intimidated by it that I haven't touched it. I'm definitely going with the tape... Can you get this from most beauty supply stores along with the adhesive remover?

  • when u use the tape, are u suppose to keep it on for a month or can u take it on and off without having to sleep w/ it??

  • I would recommend keeping it on for about 2 weeks. This is so you can keep your skin safe.

  • omg i have been using the lace front and it is preety good. the main problem that i have tho is that the glue adhesive that i use only lasts for about 5-7 days. its called Ultra Hold. what glue do you recommend so it can hold for 2 wks?

  • Most adhesives last this long. I would only recommend having your wig for 2 weeks. It's important to keep your skin safe under your wig.

  • greta vid i was just woundring why are bald im tryin to be nice about it so dont go actin stuped

  • Thank you. I messed up my hair and I cut it all the way back. My hair has grown back nicely and better than ever.

  • your actually more pretty with shorter hair

  • Thanks for this! You've made it make sense to me once more!

One quick question: what tape do you use? The brand and the type? Because I use Blue Liner tape and although I haven't done it like you do here (so I will try it this way), I kind of put the lace release on first then the adhesive remover, and it gets sooooo gooey and it's just a mess, I have to scrape it off my forehead :/.

  • very helpul, thank you...

  • I'm currently using Ultra hold liquid adhesive and its not hold my wig on very well. It seems like when I work out, getting out the shower or trying to put a high ponytail in my wig it lifts.I heard about using tape called super tape is this a good recommendation.

  • Yes, I've experienced the same thing with the ultra hold. I didn't feel secure. The supertape is excellent but I prefer the airflex because of the holes. It holds better for me.

  • omg ur soo rite! Ultra Hold only holds for about 5 days and it is so annoying to feel the wig recede each day..

  • good job... more videos

  • Thank you.......

  • great video! i was getting ready to pay my lace wig beautician $80.00 to remove my wig until i you-tubed it and saw if i buy a 9.00 bottle i can remove myself ...and it only takes 5min....my question to you is where can i find the best lace wigs on the internet without fear that it is a fraud

  • Where do u get de tape and de adhesive removal spray? does it come with de wig or u av 2 buy ur own?

  • Thanks so much for posting this! This is just what i needed

  • Your welcome....

  • This was a very helpful video. Im thinking about cutting my hair off and starting completely over myself. Is that a human lace front?

  • Yes, for me it helped my hair. My hair grew back very nice and healthy. Even my front hairline has grown in nicely as well.

  • hello, i would like to ask a few questions, when you use lace release do have to wash your natural after every use.also if you have a full lace unite could you use tape in the front and combs in the back.what type of lace release do you use.

  • very helpful....Thank you

  • Your welcome..

  • My hair was damaged badly and decided to cut my hair off and start all over. I had an adjustable strap back full lace wig unit and my hair along the backline to hold my wig down. I cut that area off, my hair is growing back nicely and feels great. Hopefully my words will help you understand why I'm on the internet doing what I'm doing.

  • very sweet girl

  • what lace release do you use?

  • okay now when i got micros for the first time it made my edges fall out.(they grew back luckily) but will this lace wig pull out the follicles of your hair when its being removed???

and does the glue damage any of your hair???

    please write back

    Thank you :)

  • I prefer the tape along with a wig cap helps preserves my edges...

  • very sweet girl,,,im a tv hostess and a destroyed my hair with white blond bleaching,,

if i wear a wig ill look like drakula or will be cool? tthc

  • omg did the wig do that 2 ur hair?

  • No... My hair was badly damaged from perms, etc I used on my hair. I cut all my hair off to start over and now my hair feel great. It's soft and growing nicely. I use a wig cap when applying my unit which protects my hairlines. Thanks for asking.

  • omg. if u cut ur hair off why is there a ponytail in the back of your head? you can see it when u turn your head. omg why do people come on the net like this.

  • Your comment seems alittle insenitive to people who are experiencing difficulties with their hair. I've personally experience women break down in tears because of their hair and the full lace wig made them feel good about themselves again. If your in my shoes and experienced that, it's priceless. My small issues I have with my hair are nothing compared to some women I've met.

  • thank you. your video was very helpful, and now i know how to safely remove my lace wig

  • Your welcome. Some people do not use this method and the end result is they rip their edges out.

  • Geez ii didnt know what I was geting into when I baught one of these things.. first of all my hairline was fine until I used this wig it piked off the sidees of my head and the nape of my neck as well.. now I really nead the damn thing cause I look like I have alapechia Lord have mercy THIS WIG IS ITCHY !! and the glue has given me a rash! horrible I am soooo going back to my reular remy weaves this was horrible.

  • Helpful Hints: Using a wig cap helps protect the front and back hairlines. Taking your time in removing the unit is important.

  • I workout about 4 days a week, plus I run.I sweat but I want the right application that will hold. I plan on taking off my unit every 2 weeks. i couldn't do every week that is to much and beside could I wash the unit when its on my head? I heard that you can do that. I want to have the freedom to do either or. Is that possible? Have you do that before?

  • Because you workout so often, you might need to remove your unit atleast once a week. The most important thing is to make sure your skin is safe under the adhesive. Because if your skin is damaged, you cannot put adhesive over that skin. I always say, listen to your skin and your skin will predict how often your unit should be removed.

  • Hello, I workout alot and I'm confused. If I use just the tape will it up better or will I have to use a waterproof adhesive along with the tape?

  • No, the tape will work well alone. I work out as well and feel very secure just using the tape. Some people like to use the combination. It is a personal preference. Thank you for your inquire.

  • Ok, I will just get the tape. You're about the second professional that told me the tape will work well alone. But could you tell me how long does the tape stays adhered, like 2weeks or more since you workout?

  • The tape can last for 2 weeks but it also depends on how much you workout will determine how fast the tape breaks down. Personally, I take it off each weekend so I won't get caught having to do my hair doing the week.

  • Thakx! very helpfull.

  • Your Welcome......

  • My hair was cut low because it was damaged badly from coloring, weaves, etc. I used to wear prior to wearing the full lace wig. Now my hair has grown back and feels very nice and healthy. I use a wig cap with my attachement to help protect my edges when I remove my unit. You must take your time and work the unit off gently.

  • is your hair cut low or does the glue take the edges out permanently..I dont want to damage my hair

  • I have been considering purchasing a lace wig, but was hesistant because of the use of glue and adhesive to my skin. I was particularly concerned about losing my own hair or skin in the removal process. Thank you so much for this indepth demonstration. I hope you continue to share any information you think will help us newbies. Thanks again and God Bless.

  • you're really pretty~

  • Thank you...

  • Hi! I was on ur site but I didn't understand how and where you can order Tape Adhesive, Alcohol 99%, Scalp Protector etc. plz help?

  • Along the top menu option, please select "Product and Services" and it will bring to the next screen which you will be able to select the alcohol, tape adhesive, etc. Thank you for your inquire.

  • When I receive my unit do I spray the knot sealer on after I cut the excess lace? Or do I wait till my first wash?

  • When you receive your unit and try it on and the unit fits. Remove the excess lace and you can wash your unit at this time. After it is completely dry, apply your knot sealer. Caution, some knot sealers strink the cap, please follow instructions carefully. Also, please place plastic around the exposed hair before applying the knot sealer because you can actually glue the hair together.

  • how many times can u wear it before u throw it away?

  • It all depends how well you take care of it. Six months to a year. I currently had my unit since May 2008 and I'm just starting to see I need to add hair along the front hairline.

  • you're very pretty.

  • thank you.

  • omg i didn't even relize you were wearing tape...thats just how un-shiny it is

  • I love the tape because it holds better and less clean up

  • thanks

  • Your welcome

  • interesting i actually wwatched the whole video..

where is all ur natural hair?

  • Thanks girl. You are courageous and helpful. God bless!

  • nice
