Also Ping-Pong is how the game is called in China (well to be fair it is pronounced more like Ping-Pang-Chiu), and I do not see any problems with using that name. Imho, if someone maintains that the game absolutely has to be called table tennis, I can only suspect that he is more interested in terminology than in the sport itself.
