  • Wow ill try it!!!

  • fabulous talk show host and baker and cook! you need your own SHOW ON food network <3

  • looks goooooood

  • then add the sugar oh and here comes the special ingredient "liquid nitrogen"

  • Anyone who wants a less crispy crust just move the oven rack to the middle and maybe use shortening instead of olive oil to grease the pan

  • Not enough cheese

  • i hate crispy crust, i like my crust fluffy and thick

  • Way overcooked and way under cheesed and over sauced. Regular crust is sposed to be softer bagel-ish not crispy like a cracker like that.

  • @Necrodius The reason it looms overcooked is because she cooked the pepperoni already. But way under-cheesed.

  • she loves to spank her dough hard xD !

  • mmmm cardboard pepperoni!

  • We did not do the microwave advice. However the recipe for dough is great. My 10 year old made 6 pizzas and tates great! thanks!

  • put ingredients into a microwave? I am sorry but microwave destroys anything good in food, do some research on it please and you will throw your microwave away.

  • @Victorius30 - I have researched microwave ovens and have no problem using it with glass or paper; however, heating anything in the microwave in plastic containers or with plastic wrap or is not advisable.

  • i need to teach her how to make a really pizza!!!!

  • This was a good video thank you got sharing your pizza recipe.

  • PERFECT!! Soooo good, professional advice!! Thank you :)

  • lol did she say spank my dough? xD

  • This is really nice thank you .)

  • How big is your pizza pan? I use a toaster oven because our oven broke but I have a 12 inch pizza pan, so would I cut the dough in half and use 1/2 or is that pan the same size as 12 inches? ^^ thanks

  • @Syaaj17 - My pan is 14 inches so you could use most of the dough or try making 2/3 of the recipe. Half might not be enough, or the crust would be very thin - but if you like a very thin crust, half might work too. Good luck!

  • @jennyjonesvideos Thanks =D But I made it on a 12 inch pan and it all fit and it was REALLY GREAT. I thank you so much with this great recipe.

  • you are older pizza idiot :))

  • can i use active dry yeast? =0

  • Only use active dry yeast if you proof it first per the directions, letting it stand in warm water until it bubbles. Once I discovered the instant kind, I never proof yeast any more. Here's more info from the web: "To substitute active dry yeast for instant, activate the yeast before adding to recipe & reduce the amount of water you add later in the recipe by the amount of water you proof the yeast in. You may also need to use 20% more yeast since active dry yeast is not as potent."

  • Malihium that was an awesome comment!!

  • i spank my dough for good luck. but then i got an arrow to the knee.

  • Im having a competition with my father to see whos pizza is better so imma try your method :D

  • pizza Xd

  • seems a little burnt

  • 45 minutes to get the oven hot enough??

  • i spank my dough too.

  • what if you don't want your pizza dough to be crunchy, but instead you want it softer?

  • @m1kaela - I would try using a regular pan without holes.

  • @m1kaela - You could make extra dough and make the crust thicker or try using a regular pan with no holes. Remember that a dark pan cooks hotter so you could also use a light-colored pan. It might take you a few tries but homemade pizza is worth the effort!

  • you look like my sister

  • @EuroHawk777 - Send me her picture! Go to my blog at jenny jones dot com and there's a Share Your Pictures category. It'll be fun to see.

  • im sorry but how does a circle look like, im only 12

  • where did you get the pepperoni

  • @Ahmedsaad920111 - I got them at Ralph's Supermarket in Los Angeles and I think Kroger carries the same items in other parts of the country.

  • you're so cute :D !!

awesome pizza. made it last night for my family

  • Italia! Italia! Italia! italy has the best pasta pizza and pie!

  • oh damn ... it's awesomeeeeeeeee

  • This is awsome . Thank you for much inspiration and the key to keep the pepperoni juices away !!!

  • i watch videos like this when i am hungry. it helps... kinda..

  • i like the grease..

  • l'impasto va fatto a mano, ed è troopo duro l'impasto,

poi il la pasta deve lievitare almeno 4 ore .

    un italiano...

  • That was not fair, i havent had pizza in ages

  • @sqaushy9 why

  • Just buy a pizza -___-

  • you look like mrs. weasley

  • i like burger better

  • THE GREASE IS WHY IT'S SO DELICIOUS LADY!

  • get a clue Madam.

  • She's a pizza hoe

  • Thumps up if you are getting hungery now...

  • it rlly needed more cheese

  • I thought this was cooking not maths

  • dont be a jew with the cheese lady

  • i use that same pizza frame as yours but mine pizzas never get crunchy and brown only really dry

  • @cyberyanmar - Here are a couple of suggestions: 1) Make sure your oven is hot enough. It takes a long time to reach 425, my oven takes 45 minutes. Also, check the temperature with an oven thermometer because maybe your oven is off and needs to be calibrated. 2) Make sure you oil the pan first. 3) If your pan is shiny, or silver, you can also try a darker pan. 4) Be sure to use the lowest rack in your oven. I hope that helps.

  • @cyberyanmar lol

  • Why Dont you use hook attachment?

  • @nimarocks1 - With a small dough like that, the standard paddle seems to work better, and fast. Even with any size dough, I do not have luck with the dough hook. The dough always rides up the paddle so I wind up kneading larger doughs by hand.

  • @daredsrock - No, it will not work in the microwave... sorry :(

  • Great pizza but i would prefer it to have red or green (or both) peppers on it.

  • Friday:

    Smokey: Ahh hey miss jones

    Mrs Jones: ....hey SMOKEY!

    THUMBS UP :D

  • A pizza must always be greasy and this is not

  • Dangit! I used the dough recipe from another video because i didnt see this one before i made it! Ugh. Oh well, hope it turns out just as yummy.

  • Ms. Jones, have you tried using corn meal to dust the cutting board with, so the crust doesnt stick? That is what the big chains use, and I think it is a key part of the 'american pizza' that I like so much... dominos has it (the only chain in denmark - the rest are terrible pizzas made by muslim immigrants - not one ialian in the bunch, not one american in the bunch) and it just gives it that little extra...

how about putting the holed pan onto the pizza stone? would that be beneficial at all?

  • @hcvang - When I make pizza using a pizza stone, I use cornmeal to dust the wooden peel which allows the pie to slide off the peel onto the stone. I've never tried cornmeal with the holed pan but I'm making pizza tomorrow and I'll try it and report back. As for putting the holed pan on the stone, it might defeat the purpose of air getting under the pan, and I think the extreme direct heat might damage the pan. But if you try it, please report back.

  • @hcvang Dominos is good??? I've heard alot of bad things about them...

  • @hcvang well that was racist!!!! we MUSLIMS eat healthy, no dirty pork, and what is wrong with Muslim immigrants, let me ask you this: if a christian made the same xact thing, and u did not know, so u will be judgin the chef's experince and talent, not the religion of the chef. and also, muslims can come from anywhere in the world, an italian can be a muslim, and u wouldnt know, yet the food is good. so shut up and ask your questions politeky without criticizing religion.

  • ohhhh, I thought you looked familiar!

I used to watch your show with my mother every day, back in the 90s, here in Denmark! We loved it! Ricki Lake and Jenny Jones, every day... gee, whattaya know. =)

  • bread is bread... it's the cheese that's the important part, and the sauce.

never can get mozarella that tastes right... or maybe it's my oven that doesnt heat up enough

  • dosen't the pan with the holes in it make the fat drip all over the oven ??

  • @anteracmacash - There is no fat to drip. You just coat the pan with a bit of oil (no more than 2 teaspoons) just like you would grease any baking pan. If fat drips out from the holes, you've used too much oil to grease the pan.

  • @jennyjonesvideos ok, thanks...I usualy use extra virgin olive oil

  • Is peperoni a kind of salami ?

  • @bkazapa - They are related but not the same. Pepperoni is spicier, usually smaller, and drier so it's better suited for pizza because it doesn't add too much moisture. Salami is usually milder and moister, so it's better suited for sandwiches. But if you prefer the taste of salami, you can use it on pizza, too. But to me, pepperoni makes the best crispy pizza.

  • OMG U MADE ME HUNGRY WHEN U ATE IT

  • I follwed you Recipe and my family love you Pizza i dint realided how easy it was

    Thank You Jenny

  • hey jenny i tried making the dough but it got too soft to work with that ammount of water

  • @cyberyanmar - Doughs are always tricky depending on the weather, how you measure the flour, even the brand of flour so just use a bit less water. Add the water slowly and watch until the dough holds together. If it's still too sticky, try adding a little more flour by hand before you start rolling it out. Even mine is not always the same - sometimes I use all the water and sometimes not. I hope that helps. :)

  • The pizza looks great! I'm going to try it to night thanks .

  • yummy, and I'm not just talking about the pizza

  • Looks burnt & wayyyy too dry :( whats wrong wiv buying one?

  • Mmm....

  • hi, i have cooked 2 times using the same pan as you used (i bought from lakeland). i use convection microwave. but the crust down isnt brown and crispy as yours.. any suggestions ? i am really want my crust down is crispy n brown as yours. tq

  • @TheMariaevelina - Unfortunately, you can't get that brown and crispy crust in a microwave (convection or not). Try using a regular oven.

  • What's wrong with the grease? Its yummy, but your pizza looks amazing :)

  • Great tips for making your own pizza. I'm making my own from scratch for the first time. The dough part seems intimidating, but I'm going to use your tips.

  • looks like a delissio pizza to me.
