@suckitdonny1 I'm afraid he's right. All triggers do is make the kick drum sound the same on every single kick, no matter how hard or soft the drummer hits it. It's a way of keeping the power whilst doing rapid kicking, but it doesn't enable you to kick any faster. There is always debate about what triggers do, but there are vids on here that make it clear :)
@rolypoly92 The thing with triggers, is that you can make settings how responsive they are, which means, if you set it high, you can just almost touch it and it will kick, which makes it easier to do fast drumming, that could be counted a "cheating" if you say so. BUT, if you set the them so you have to hit hard, it is just as regular bass drums ^^ And yes they do make them same sound on every single kick to make it sound better, but it is also more easy to record with triggers, better sound ^^
