  • Thumbs up if the 90's were the best...!!

  • Q buena cancion!!

  • It's like a video that Enigma could have made. Very mystical, baroque and other-worldly.

  • Heard this on the Saint Sountrack and instantly loved it.

  • The library! I want one like that! Great song,by the way.

  • the saint's soundtrack..

  • esta cancion es de la pelicula el santo con val kilmer y esta muy buena

  • Great song writing:Listen to the words

  • This video is like Arcadia. the flame part 2. Anyway, for me one of duran s best songs

  • Nick is so decadent in this video..

  • gothic video.. great song i love them

  • True Dark4angelic however they just play the reflex at their concerts ; /

  • the Saint:-))

  • Love it.

  • One word: Versatility

  • Was so glad to see this come from Duran in 1997!

  • DD really captured the atmosphere of the song in the video!!! Kudos to them :)

And Nick is definitely looking ever so sexy as usual :D !!!!!

  • in 1997 i was hooked on this song , i just never thought the lyrics would be my life 14 years later.

  • I wonder if Dean Karr directed this video.

  • I'm happy to see that I'm not the only one who thinks that the whole album is underrated for absolutely no reason.

  • 1 of my favorites!!!!

  • @justembossed Your a dickhead.

  • Want to get out? Takes a lot of me. Better to combine yours.. Also do this more than twice. Why? I don't know. Fun.

  • Everytime I hear this song, I just HAVE to go watch the Saint LOL.

  • <3 this song & beautiful melody :) thanxoxoxo for posting & sharing (: <3 the ;D;D peculiarity*o*

  • I'd kill to have this video on Blu-Ray.

  • Muito legal!!!!

  • el santo que buena pelicula !

  • I remember how Igot this song first.I've been at video shop to choose some movie I haven't seen yet,so I chose "THE SAINT" by Val Kilmer which I liked especially when I heard a song at the end. That song sounded very very familiar to me as I was always a Duran fan.I told myself:It must be Duran Duran and I've googled until I find it on internet. So I recognised the unmistakeable style of the band and voice of Le Bon.That was the first time I heard this song which is highly addictive as all theirs

  • i think the matrix totally ripped this vid. all the merovingian ghost parts totally ripped this off!

  • Interesting, i found this my mistake. I was looking for "Walking with a Ghost", but i knew the lyrics "out of my mind". I'm glad i found this.

  • it's my favorite band... it's fantastic band...I love simon le bon

  • AMAZING BAND!!!

  • I think this is their best song ever!

  • @MARIANWN

I am stupid and i don't know what that means.

  • one of the best d.d. songs but underrated

  • Nick does drag in this video....classic....

  • Highly erotic fantasy.

  • Esta cancion es mi favorita de Medazzaland

  • супер

  • Amaaaaaazing band…almost as good as Empire of the Sun

    And that's saying something

  • @Firstriver333 their also a fantastic band. love em!

  • @funkyproductionsbap nice to meet a fellow Empyrean ;)

  • @Firstriver333 yess...they have some crazy costumes as well. and i love it. i have tried showing people thier music and music vids and they kinda've push away from them, thats society today ;) lol

  • @funkyproductionsbap "to change the world stop acting like the world. We want to be otherworldly." - Luke Steele (the singer of Empire)

This is what society needs anyway ;)

  • @Firstriver333 totally agree :D

  • Creepy video yet I like it. And I love the song!! Simon in eyeliner "Mmmmm mmmm"

  • @ecsisof3

    Nick in drag

  • 40 people are out of their minds....

  • excellent song.....

  • Duran duran, to my brother Jack V*****. This is you!

  • What an interesting song...so bad that some people prefer to listen some sh*t!

  • What an interesting song...so bad that some people prefer to listen some sh*t!

  • the best of best : )))

  • nina brosh!!!!!!

  • ooooooooooops....

  • The video impressed me so much when I first saw it as a little boy, it looked like horror. The song is great, sounds like it comes from other times. Posted it in my fb profile and no one put a like... Such a shame!!!

  • the song speaks of such loss in such a beautiful, stylish way. the video is just too cool for words. Simon looks and sounds beautiful. Gods bless him. I adore the man.

  • Got to get you out of my mind, but y can´t escape from the feeling.

    Its very true.

    Fuck

  • "Medazzaland" is so underrated. I don`t get it. It is such an excellent album.

  • @Cimbarius Yes; I agree totally. I wish they would re-release it........

  • @Cimbarius i agree :)

  • @Cimbarius agree

  • @Cimbarius it is very good isn't it!

  • Wow, I've never seen a video so similar to Marilyn Manson's "Sweet Dreams" video, I'm assuming they used the same director?

  • @nastierpogo Yes; Dean Karr.........the video was filmed at Krumlov Castle in the Czech Republic.

  • First time hearing this song and video.

  • amazing video and song

  • the single remix is miles better than this, the album version, perhaps it wasnt a bigger hit because TV and radio played this one...a classic none the same

  • I'm sick and tired of some stupid girls on this site which measure DD in appearance without realizing that they have 1000 times better than stupid songs like Reflex, Rio... Listen to songs such as Friends of mine, Virus, Silva ...

  • @legazter That's the strongest poin of DD, I mean they are one of those "all in a single package band". I mean they have great songs, albums and they indeed have a great appearance. DD has songs for everyone. Happy, senseless but also deep and inspiring songs, that's why they're favourite band of several kind of people.

  • If any Duran sounded more like Arcadia, this would be it. I've always felt this song didn't really fit the rest of Medazzaland. A decent Duran song. I like "Box Full 'O Honey" personally. I almost took it personal when that song wasn't a hit, although it did get airplay where I live.

  • everytime I get in my volvo, I put this song on blast!

  • this one could be on the ARCADIA album

  • Great song!

  • i love this song too!

  • A touch of Arcadia creativity in this video...similar to The Flame

  • The video is f***ed up, i love it.

  • madazzaland and poptrash are underated the same as big thing and liberty.

great albums.best band even with out john andy roger!!!!!!!!!!!!!!tears in the back of your mind

  • madazzaland and poptrash are underated the same as big thing and liberty.

great albums.best band even with out john andy roger!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • buena rareza de duran duran grupo mitico de los 80 el santo buena peli

  • '97 Medazzaland brilliance.

  • Truely exquisite; an utter masterpiece.......

  • This is Duran Duran at their finest and yet most underrated, such a lovely tune. I could ride all night long, listening to such a fine song.

  • @dark4ngelic Well, It doesn't really fit the rest of their music, particularly their popular early music.

  • @1stLtRyan None of their music fit. That's what was so great about them...and Bowie...and the Beatles. They explored all aspects of genre and form. Granted, DD had many falters on their path (Liberty as compared to Rio) compared to the Beatles (Abbey Road as compared to Beatles For Sale for example), the style doesn't matter. They are a great band for doing what they do best...music. There are gems on all their albums.

  • their best LP right here.

  • Thanks for the post.

  • i love this song.. i remember the movie the saint by val kilmer! one my fave movie ever!

  • excellent rip jonathan brandis

  • de las rarezas de Duran Duran, del soundtrack de El Santo.

  • i love this song. just heard it on the ending of "the saint" great movie

  • on of their sexiest songs..

  • I first heard this song yesterday watching the movie Saint (Val Kilmer) but i knew it must have been Duran.I was right.Simon's voice and the style of their music that you can't confuse with any other band.

  • I don't care how weird the video is.. it's way cooler than you think..

  • F... from Denmark...

  • It's the great moment when Duran briefly went back to being Arcadia again. Genius.

  • @nshearing Oh my god, you're right.I was looking for the similarity to any of their existing songs or albums because it sounded familiar to me.You got me the answer which is ARCADIA! THANKS

  • wowmom

  • Simon Le Bon, disguised as the old, broken man laden with sticks is the creepiest, weirdest phenomenon I've ever seen.

  • It scares me.. but that will be the intention?

  • thanks for the video. I love this song!!!!!!!!!! If can you or anyone recomend me more songs like this for my playlist. thank you xoxoxoxo

  • Excelente aporte. Aguante Duran Duran!!

  • enormous song, lyrics and video...i´m still flipping (since 1997)

  • Yeah, aside from 'Ordinary World', this could very well be their best song. Don't think the music was marketed too well. I think by the time this music came out, the radios were too busy playing Nirvana to pay attention to what was assumably 'washed-up' 80s bands when this actually sounds better than anything Nirvana put out. I'm sorry but I like my music to be pleasing to my ears and not ruin them!

  • This song's so fuckin' exciting, god...

  • This song is so haunting it gives me goosebumps :S

  • duran duran i migliori del mondo forever

  • the single remix is MUCH better than this (the album version), agree should have bee a big hit, if the video had been of the remix version

  • such a classy sounding song

  • Amazing song but never got the credits and success what it deserved...

  • Heard it on The Saint movie (1997) been a fan of the damn song since. :) awesome song by DURAN DURAN!

  • ".....but here it comes now, sure as silence follows rain, the taste of you upon my lips, the fingers in my brain; ever gentle as it kills me where I lay; who am I to resist? Who are you to fail?".........priceless lyrics

  • i am a big fan had never heard this song though until my son put it in my mp3 so now its one of my favis havent seen the movie the saint either i have alot of catching up to do i guess. : )

  • did they separate

  • Thanks for the post.

  • best duran video clip ever

  • what a great song and band !! i really don't understand why this wasn't a big hit too...i miss good music..think just for a minute where is the music industry leading the society => materialeism and superficial thinking..

  • my favorite song by them ever since i saw the movie the saint

  • @twistedmahogany: Count me in! Starting with his feet...............

  • Hands up who would like to undress (and nibble) Mr Rhodes verrry slowly to this soundtrack?

  • WOW! What a creepy, beautiful, fucking awesome video. I liked the song before and only just saw now the vid. A masterpiece. <3

  • LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE THIS SONG!!!!! Unfortunately, this song is so underrated. Nick is so sexy and cute!!!!! His voice kills me :) Nick Rhodes is the best man alive!!!!!

  • @Hodson2000:- No........Arcadia comprised of Nick, Simon & Roger circa 1985 & this song was by Duran Duran in 1997, which then comprised of Nick, Simon & Warren Cuccurullo.

  • If its just Simon and Nick , doesnt that mean its Arcadia?

  • Think Nick should have delivered an impassioned monologue at the beginning of the song. I could listen to his voice 24/7. He has the SEXIEST voice EVER!!!

  • Heard it in the movie Saint and loved it ever since. 5*

  • One of my FAVOURITE Duran Duran videos & songs!

  • Another underrated DD song

  • God , I love this song. Not a big fan of Duran Duran per se, but love this song.

Remember listening to it on the end credits of "The Saint" and since then, been a fan.

Just love it. Such a beautiful song.

  • I just watched the movie, and loved this song myself!

  • That's because the Saint kicks ass. But you need to listen to more Duran Duran.

  • @nethrit Me 2

  • Excelente canción!!!!!!

  • The video is a real draw. Lurid & macabre but strangely captivating. A real foil for the excellent song. The first time I heard it I was hooked. I cannot stop playing it now. It perfectly demonstrates Duran Duran's towering diversity.

  • This is a great song by Duran Duran.Used in a great movie "The Saint" Heard it on the radio a few times when it came out around 1997

  • voice,music,melody...genious!

  • i love so much this song , simon's voice is so sexy ...

  • Don't understand why this song wasn't a big hit. I only learned it from the end of The Saint movie with Val Kilmer, loved it so much I looked for it in the credits. LOVE the music.

  • me too!!!

  • @merijensue haha same with me....

  • @merijensue same here. i couldnt left the theather, when i heard the song

  • @merijensue I guess it's depending on your location. But When I live in California as a kid, it was playing on the alternative rock radio stations back in 1997. Then I recorded it to a tape, and recently listened to it again, and it brings back a lot of memories along with this great song.

  • @merijensue

The same was with me - I've heard it at the end of "The Saint"

  • @muzzolka me too lol !

  • @merijensue i think the song is amazing, particularly in The Saint but the video is diabolic and totally disgusting. when i first heard the song i never imagined it this way as in video but the music is incredible and i listen to it all the time :)

  • @MrDavorinho I beg to differ; I think the video is amazing. Lurid & macabre, yes but perfectly befitting the haunting lyrics...........

  • Cucurolo went on to fashion dildos of himself. Where is he now?

  • @modspell

He owns several high-end vegan restaurants and volunteers as a political activist. He recently released an album.

  • These negs people leave are proof of their ignorance-- he did all of that, and posed nude in a Brazilian gay magazine... I've seen it. No knock on his talent, just saying...

  • @klingoncelt Who owns several vegan restaurants? If you mean Cuccurullo, he was a vegetarian for health reasons, but then decided to take the opposite approach and did the Atkins thing where you eat huge quantities of meat.

  • I never heard about him doing the Atkins diet. (I wonder if he could convince Nick to try the Atkins diet - LOL!)

The restaurants AREN'T vegan after all, they're in Venice Beach, the Hidden Restaurant, the Via Veneto, and I'm pretty sure there's anotther one...

@Modspell - the negs are no doubt because you focused on the Rock Rod and then asked where is he now. He has an official website, you should check it out.

  • genius

  • the ultimative song!

  • great since i can think of!

  • so great well done

  • v f c

  • gr8 song, weird video!

  • yes, the perfect ending to "The saint", and a very nice movie, one of my favourites :X:X
