I got my border collie at 8 weeks old he is 12 weeks old now he never runs away EVER like I don't ever watch him and he never goes he lives on 20 acors and he does what he wants at 12 weeks old its great when you call his name he comes and he does hand shake and sit lie down and many more tricks I take him to puppy school every weekend he is beautiful one thing, i'm not sure if he is a long haired or a short haired his mum was long and his dad was short, but he has got sorta long hair...

@justbakedthc nah she was a pure border collie. She was quite small (in height, smaller than the red and white when she was fully grown) but she was stockier than most collies...Her father was huge though and he was a KC reg collie

@justbakedthc Ah, yeah they should be slightly bigger than that but then again they are generally bred for working ability rather than looks so they are all different sizes :)
