Rapidly reduce Turkey's foreign reserves in accordance with information from financial circles as a result of the Central Bank of the country to keep fixed the exchange rate of national currency whose value has depreciated by 18.5% in 2011.
According to official figures, Turkey's foreign reserves at the beginning of the week was 88.2 billion dollars (69.5 billion euros) which is sufficient to cover imports for 4 months.

The Turkish lira has been hit by a bout of risk aversion as markets fear a contagion of the debt crisis,” Thu Lan Nguyen, a currency analyst at Commerzbank AG in Frankfurt, said in response to e-mailed questions today. “We are seeing a flight into safe havens, which is why the dollar has been strengthening and risky currencies such as the lira are being discarded.”

Dieses Quartal ist die Türkei um 11% gewachsen und somit die am schnellsten wachsende Wirtschaft der Welt geworden ;)

Die türkische Wirtschaft boomt seit 10jahren, sie wuchs im vergangenen Jahr um 8,9 Prozent gewachsen, das Wachstum im letzten Quartal betrug sogar 9,2 Prozent.
Damit ist die Türkei in Europa das Land mit der am stärksten wachsenden Wirtschaft.
Das Brutto-Inlandsprodukt betrug 550 Milliarden Euro .
Das Pro-Kopf-Einkommen liegt bei 7.200 Euro.
