  • Over cooking them will definitely make them tough. Sometimes it helps to put the squid in a tenderiser before cooking - but not for too long. I've used kiwifruit and have heard that milk works too. Good luck next time.

  • well done. I hope you didn't burn yourself with the popping oil. Tell me, I made something similar with squid a few months ago, same size as yours, and man oh man they came out tough as rubber! How come? Over-fried them? Thanks! Good video - thumbs up!
