This motor has to have a very small energy conversion efficiency, due to the contineous acceleration and deceleration of the shaft inside the electromagnet. A conventional electric motor doesn't have this problem, because it rotates. Actualy you try to immitate the otto engine principle, which is the worst type of engine the human kind could come up with. Funny machine though.
