I took one of your Sambo/Cambo classes in 2009 in NYC one of the best times of my life. I injured my ACL back in NC at practice for a tournie and been post-op rehab for 2 months. Those heel hooks look brutal man! Sweet smooth throws into leg snapping subs. Did you ever get injured in a leg lock battle?

nice highlight & great technique! i notice at 2:05 you are using a twisting toehold in sambo comp - is that legal in the states?

p.s the set-up at 1:27 made me laugh, especially when you shake your head as he falls for it!

i compete in a rule set called 'freestyle sambo' in which toe holds, and chokes are legal, and there is no total victory for a throw.
