Emitt's first three albums are just gems - never to be repeated because if cool funky sound. "Paradise" is a decline and since then - pretty awful, But that's okay. Wish he found more happiness in life...

Hi Jane, and yes I do remember Emitt Rhodes very well. You know he had that big hit "Fresh As A Daisy" in 1970, and all of his albums were great too. He should have been a humongous star, but I think the big name bands in the early 70s like Led Zep overshadowed him too much. Thanks for sharing this Jane, enjoyed it :o) -Ron

Great song. Had the Mirror album in 1971. Do you have "In Desperate Need" from Farewell To Paradise. No Emitt Rhodes on ITunes in UK....and that's a disgrace. Many Thanks
