  • Does 4 stroke mean less carb cleaning issues? I'm sick of my chainsaw or trimmer not working and hearing the phrase "just clean the carb".

  • @mssnsux no that depends on how you store the machine and if your air and fuel filter are in good condition. in the 4 years I've owned this I have never had to do any work on it besides regular maintenance. With a 4 stroke you don't need to mix gas. You do oil changes instead and the generally tend to be better on gas

  • this would make great redneckbout with a propeler on it and a tube

  • I usually wack the weeds off with one hand while I'm riding my lawn mower. Saves time from having to mow first then wack weeds.

  • I have a Honda weed wacker I think it's the same as the one in this video...Cost $370.00 NEW direct from a Honda dealer...I've owned it for a few years now and It's a great machine but it's heavier compaired to the two strokes I use to own and burned out doing my own lawn...

Anyone know where I can buy the adaptor kit that will fit it with either blades or wire to replace the string spool?

If anyone knows where to find it send me a message, thanks

  • I've owned a lot of great weedeater, my first was a echo, didn't like it, my second was a husquevarna 245rx with 45cc motor, it had phenominal muscule and could fell a 6" tree, then I had a honda with the 33cc 4 cycle motor by far the best weedeater ever. Amazing fuel economy, one tank could day any job, clean, quiet, lots of torque, it some problems with running at full speed continuously and yet still the best.

  • did you seriously make a video about your Honda weed wacker?

  • Shadow your rc car probably also uses $40 a gallon fuel

  • hmmm i think the 4-mix is better than the 2 and 4 strokes :|

  • that's cool, i have never seen a 4 stroke weed whacker.

  • your 4.1cc rc car is made for racing performance, this is just made to cut grass, this clearly would have more torque then your car though. the 4 stroke weed eaters would probably run forever, i've never used them. but holding them day in and day out (i do lawn care) it just seems like they would be too heavy! i've used 2 stroke stihls that are way to heavy, i dont know, i just like my echos.

  • @joelbee1991 I used these when I was in lawn care day after day. They are VERY light

  • @1skiinIan oh, i've never personally used one. just figured they would be more heavy because the extra components.

  • dude my 4.1cc rc car has more hp then that

  • @SHADOWSHUFFLER911 try running the engine 3/4 of the max rpm while keeping in the same place and tell me if it overheats

  • @SHADOWSHUFFLER911 now that's obvious... glow-engines running on nitro are freaking high-reving engines... high revs = high power... but such a tiny glow-engine would produce not enough torque for a weed wacker and of course it would just overheat :/

  • i want a 4 stroke one

  • 2 stroke is much better

  • haven't let it start all winter? hope you warmed it up before that video tool

  • woah. is that the same engine that they put in the civic type r?!

  • haha thats amazing!

  • my dad found one of those in the trash. it had wire problems. fixed it and gave it to my uncle witch is a landscaper btw nice trimmer and vid.

  • honda is not the only 4 cycle trimmer to have over head cam, ryobi does too, just check my video on my channel for ryobi 4 cycle for anyone who doesn't believe,

but honda is good too but never owned a honda power equipment though all ryobi, but i may find somthing else because HOMELITE bought ryobi so now they suck , they used to be great, also the ryobi has an oil dipper which this honda may have also but idk anything about this honda but good vid.

  • @motorhead45102 Homelite is GARBAGE

  • how the fuck does it have so many views

  • OHC!!!!???????????? =DDDDDDDDDDDDDD

  • Nice video, good machine, but with a pipe for a handle :) .

  • ok mate when starting the strinner put your foot on it to stop it moving when u start it !!

  • @class1234k he should just hold it with 1 hand to start it fuck sitting it down i use chainsaws all day and i always just hold it to start it same with weed wacker

  • Thanyks 4 the vid, been having some trouble starting my 2st ryobi which i have had for about 8 years.. overkill 4 my small yd I am deciding what i should get. I'm torn between going cheap and going quality. The amount of gas savings between a 2 and 4 stroke is not really an issue since $200 price difference would buy me gas on a 2s for like 20 years

reliability and ease of use are issues. To me $500 is allot to spend on a trimmer.

  • Vtec just kicked in yo!

  • @MDIVISIONRULES LMAO. Somebody had to do it.

  • Not as quiet as the Lehr weed trimmer. Lehr is the only maker of propane weed trimmers and it is half the price too. I paid 160 for my 4 stroke Lehr and it is neary emission free!!

  • locomotive chain

    saw engine

  • @tpvalley what?

  • @1skiinIan

I cancelled that comment, wrote it in wrong box!!

  • Sounds like a civic lol

  • OMG!!!! I sooooooooooooooo want me! Congratulations!

  • I used to have that weedwacker. I miss the damn thing. best weedwacker ever.

  • is it right if your weed wacker blows some smoke and turn on for 5 secounds and then turn s off can someone might tell me my problem i think it just need some gum cuter in the pcv valve but thats just me

  • 4 stokes are so much more quiet

  • holy redneck talking about boner wackers

  • haha pos

  • is it v-tech TURBO!

  • wow it sounds like a four wheeler (i want one)

  • Im a power equip tech and a Honda tech

For contractors they are ok, high maintance, but if you cant do the simple things like air filter and regular oil changes, Buy a 2 stroke Sthil or Echo they will cost less in the long run...just hope the boss dosnt find this,,, :)-

  • lol yeah, oil changes for these literally take me 30 seconds. after cutting a lawn, dump the oil out, fill to the threads, ready to go. air filters are CHEAP

  • @1skiinIan

    so they have a sump?

how do they work upside down etc without oil starvation?

  • @tpvalley very small tight fitting sump to crank. just google the cross section

  • How quiet is it?

  • let's just say I didn't know you could make an engine that small, that quiet

  • hahaha honda how could you buy this sh.. buy yourself an STIHL FS 130

  • hahaha stihl how could you buy that sh.. buy yourself a HONDA GX

  • my friend has one....honestly is just one heavy piece of junk....i mean look you need to put oil in it....gx have oil chamber, oil pump and this sh.. is heavy...stihl 4mix engines doesn't have oil pump and oil chamber.....just radial ports and runs on fuel and oil mixture and ist way lighter than gx and more powerfull....i work as a mechanic on STIHL, HUSQVARNA, JONSERED and HONDA service

  • @1skiinIan hahaha honda how could you buy that sh.. but yourself a tecumseh

  • @PERPARSON I have fs130 and it is a crap. Fs 120 is much better. Honda is pretty good trimmer

  • fs130 is gold medalist in 4stroke trimmer range....i have one...it always starts at first pull and it have alot of torque

  • cool machine i want one how much?

will it do better than my straight shaft echo???

  • I have 2 of them but .

  • but what? ill buy one off you

  • good video

i have 3 of these a gx22/gx25/gx35 strimmers good machines quiet and powerful and no oil mixing needed the way things are going

  • Hondas are the best motors on the planet! I have a 2003 honda xr70 and nothing has ever happend to it

  • thats only the GX25.. im building an rc car of an GX35 ;)

  • that rc car is going to go like lightning

  • i hope your using some kind of fuel preservative!

  • no, do some research about fuel preservatives

  • you're not too clever are u?

Preserver laced gas will be much better for the engine and performance than old stale gasoline!

  • you are one of those people that totally over think things I know. so relax there bud, it was less than 6 months and it was always garage stored so it wasn't like the sun was heating up the tank

  • i know what im talking about.

    U dont!

6 months is way to long even in an air-tight container!... thats a fact!

  • no, it's not. If it was a high compression engine or was turbocharged, then maybe I wouldn't trust it because of detonation with lower octane fuels.

  • bah!... im wasting my time with u.

Why not just get some NEW gas u stupid tight ass?!.... u dont want to throw away your 5 cents worth of stale gas??

  • you really don't think I added gas after starting it, do you.....

  • haha dude its a 4 stroke its the 2 strokes that you NEED ethanol treatment for so there I know and you dont now go try to tell someone else what do to with THEIR STUFF you just worrie about your own things little boy.

  • funny how the guy is arguing over gasoline. There are a lot worse things going on in the world than stale gasoline, haha.

  • cool sound

  • sounds beast

  • isnt lubrication bad with these? i would think it would only last being used upright

  • no it's great. it has a tight case built around the crank like a 2 stroke and is oil pump lubbed to get the oil up to the over head cam. If this engine had a lube problem, it would have been dead a long tome ago. I must have 50 hours on it at least. It's used commercially

  • what weed wacker should i buy that is reliable cheap doesnt have problems and i can buy at local stores becuz im not allow to buy stuff on the internet so please replay to me

  • you get what you pay for

  • I just got a like new 31 cc honda on craigs list for $100 bucks

    Its like new!!!

  • are the handles broken

  • @ArmyBoy015 no

  • @ArmyBoy015 that's just a bar to hold on to

  • I have the 31cc version. It has good power and efficiency, but its just too damn heavy, 15lbs ready to run.

  • ill buy it off you for $150

  • Well, Its not mine, its my dads, but im the one who trims the grass.

  • I ended up getting a Stihl FS90R over this. I love Honda, but the Stihl has more CC's and was less money.

  • this damn thing sounds like a stihl 4 MIX engine

  • It does!, much better quality than the stihl though.

  • Man honda is the shit! I have a cub cadet 4 cycle trimmer that is good but could not hold weight against your honda.I love how low the noise factor is on all honda products,I have a honda generator (eu2000i) it is only 53 db. honda products might be a little pricey but well worth it. thanks for the video.

  • yeah i know. I wish more people could understand how great they are. do you find they are somehow amazing on gas too?

  • 3 words GET A ECHO

  • yes HONDA IS SHIT

  • honda is shit ? when did they start letting autistic inmates use the internet ?

  • wtf are you talking about?

  • how do u like it

  • don't like it, I love it! I use it comercially. It gets used every single day in the grass season all day long. never quits and is great on gas. beats any 2 stroke.

  • yea i like 2 stroke but just atvs like my banshee. ahah. thanks

  • lol, well ya. I would kill for that banshee

  • yea there pretty bad

  • how heavy does the 4 stroke feel?

  • not enough that i can tell the difference.

  • Nice trimmer...and how much does it cost? I keep struggling on buying weedeater (2 stroke and 4 stroke), any suggestions?

  • 4 strokes are sooo much better. it will last way longer too. especially the honda engines. honda really knows what they're doing

  • Then how much does this trimmer cost? I think four stroke is more expensive than two stroke.

  • got this for a good deal, 280 bucks.

but you're going to be wondering why you never got this earlier when you do

  • Sounds like Yamaha YZF-R125 :DD

  • or a crf

  • Any thoughts on how to mix 2 cycle oil with the gas, the ratio i mean....

2 parts oil, 5 parts gas......????

  • There is usually a chart on the back of the bottle that will tell the ounces per gallon for a given mixture.

  • Just an odd sound for a trimmer to make, lol

  • first time ive ever seen a 4 stroke weed wacker, hey put a straight pipe on there

  • no, I need the quiteness because I mow commercialy

  • buy a stihl

  • yeah, idk. it's a tie for me though

  • that thing is shit get a echo

  • this thiong has gone longer than the echo

  • still get a echo because that thing is shit

  • nope. stihl or honda

this 23cc honda is more powerful than my 32cc echo btw

  • woops I accedently thumbed u down I ment to do it to jm94kt1

  • lol

  • So whats the point?

  • to show people how great these machines are. why don't you read some of the 54 comments and figure it out yourself?

also, why the fuck do you bother watching videos like this if you think there is no point to them?

  • you're the only skindick I see around here, so you can go fuck yourself

  • I feel very sorry for the woman that shat you out her whoom

  • lol, shat you out of her whoom. yeah, but I agree, you should go fuck yourself

  • hey mac77daddy, you should go wack your mom's weeds. And you might as well go fuck yourself while you're at it. judging by the thumbs down and negative responses you are getting, I would shut the fuck up if I were you

  • wow, that made a lot of sense (sarcastic)

it's too bad people like you have nothing else to do with their life but to talk shit about other people and by looking at the comments on your profile wall, it looks like that's all you do...get a life

  • What's a skindick?

  • Lame namecalling

  • But what does it mean?

  • Looks like it has some jam!! Sounds nice and revs pretty fast too.

  • yeah, honda did an awesome job

  • I just bought one today. They are such a well made little motor and so quite.... starts with no effort...

  • yeah I know. That's why I made the vid. So people could see just how awesome they are.

honda is definately the way to go when it comes to small engines

  • Honda is the way to go when it comes to any engine! toughest engines ever built.

  • agreed. Yamaha should make them too. Maybe then honda would actually have someone to compete with and the price would go down

  • yea my p58 9 30 dances circles around ur vagina wacker over there, throw on some tap shoes nd well throw mits bucko

  • so it has vtec right?

    sohc vtec weed killer.

  • ya its crap

  • my troy built 4 sycle sucks balls i hate it

  • probably because it's troy built...

  • ya on the canadian tire website, the most expensive lawn tractor (like 3000 dollars)

had really shity reviews-bad tecumseh engine and tranny

  • honda is arguably the best small engine you can get

  • got that right lmao

  • That's the motor in Honda Civics. I can't figure out why the make the hood so big.

  • that motor sounds better and has better performance specs than a civic

  • lol ya, prolly

  • lulz xD

  • thats my word lulz

  • are you really that retarded?

  • well different strokes.... I was interested.. Or should i be watching a TV crime show.?

  • I don't know, the comments and a 5 star rating suggest otherwise, so, you can go fuck yourself.

  • ya man, what is your shitty music listening ass doing on this vid then? go suck a big one.

  • nobody likes people like you (slipknot2155)

    go fuck your mom.

  • always fun to see trolls get pawned, lol.

  • totally agree with you slipknot2155

  • then why did you watch the vid? go dildo your airbag lips you little cunt

  • rofl this is great. lol

  • damn they could make 2-cylinder mopeds and 4-cyl 125s why dont they do that wud be coooool

  • because it would be 4 times the size and produce so much heat that they would need to be liquid cooled. they would be heavyer, shitty on gas, more complicated mechanicaly making it less reliable.

    the list goes on...

  • Why should a small engine produce more heat than a big one and be shittier on the gas?And Honda makes reliable enough engines anyways. Also I was talking about the coool factor, why a twin 125,and why bigger bikes? Why cant all bikes be 1-cylinder 4-strokes between 50 and 250 cc?See my point?

  • 4 cylinders will produce more heat than 1 cylinder. and if you check the specs, 4 cylinders will use WAY more gas that 1 cylinder of the equevalent cc

  • Yes of course? Why do many American cars have 6 and 8-cylinder engines when 4 is enough? And what about 12-cylinder sportscars?Apparently you missed my point.

  • 4 is enough, and that's why most of our road cars are 4 cylinders of 2.0 to 2.3 liters.

What 4 cylinder engine is of 125cc?

  • Do you mean your personal,or American cars in general?Seems to me many of them has engine sizes unheard of in Europe, except on expensive luxury cars.Anyway, its not long ago the most common US car engine was a 5 litre V8!And thats just as unnecessary as a 4-cyl moped. If Honda can produce a 23 cc 4-stroke,they could also make a 4-cyl as small as 92 cc!And imagine a 276 cc V12!Almost a model engine..Would be cool if they could do that dont you think?

  • Are you suggesting the more cylinders the more power? I'm a bit confused.

Also, if there ever was a time where 5l v8 was common, it was too far beyond when I was born (1986) to be aware of. 3l v6 average mayyyybe in the 70s or 60s but you are going off American misconceptions and stereotypes, albeit well deserved.

  • In the late 50s,60s and early 70s V8 engines were the most common in America, until the energy crisis began.A 3 litre V6 is still a big engine compared to European car engines, where most are between 1400-2000 cc.

  • An engine with more cylinders will be able to achieve more hp out of a given volume, because it is able to rev higher. But that was not the point.I just mean it would be cool with a 4 or 6 cyl 125 or 50,instead of the old boring 1-cylinder ones.Theres 2-cylinder 125s,so why not 4 as well?

  • omg.... *shaking head*

  • ???????????

  • More power strokes more torque, and the power output of more cylinder, 2 cylinder at least should be good enough toget to the powerband

  • its 1 cylinder.

  • I know that but im just saying. That echo was great but your honda is awesome!

  • Yea that would be awesome! My dad has like a 20 year old 2 stroke echo weed eater, and he has the original plug in it still. She runs great but smokes just a wee bit
