It's tough to wear whatever you want in high school- but it can be done- you just have to not give a darn about what "they"think. I live in a small town, I'm in my late 20's and wear my own fashions. I have more compliments and comments on my clothes than I ever imagined. Everyone else wears jeans, but I have heels, vintage dresses and hats. Now others try to dress like me. It's funny really- so wear what you want, and damn those who don't like it. You will win in the end.

Back in high school I wore a white pair of goo goo boots with a modest out fit. The whole school went nuts! Mean and such. But for the rest of the year every girl tried to pull of the look.
