Having been in a choral setting for 4 years, I personally don't have to strain for extreme notes on a scale in my range (alto), but the same notes only an octave up will repeatedly be a difficult thing to sing for sopranos. Generally, if a note is at an extreme or if it is a passionate song, facial expression doesnt matter. Charlotte Church has a video explaining this better than me.When reviewing a performance, I find the expression not as important as the sound.

Haha, I'm kind of with Spicysuperstar64 about the team edward team jacob thing, but I do like Twilight and I'm for Edward. I just don't have teams. And the reason that they make those horrible (I agree w/you on this) expressions IS to hit the notes. It's kind of hard to hit the right ones, especially the really high pitched ones. :] Add me and we can chat? Laterr :)

Well not to sound repetitive but the singing faces are hitting the right notes, it does take a lot. What disturbs me? People who play instruments who make the faces that singers do when they play. I play the violin and piano and I never have made those kind of faces. Maybe they feel the spirit of music. Who knows...lol Have a Merry Christmas and Godbless.

I agree with your belt point!!! It is now funny when I am in that situation with my girl friend because if she know the person she will PULL their pants up for them! :D
For singers expressions they have to do the faces inorder to get the right tone out.

well, espically when live... k little lesson, when you record, you can do it in a few takes, and mix it together, but when live, singers, its a little harder, because it is really hard to do what they do.
