Sorry, they actually say at the concert, if you see something you like, or hear something you like - cheer - dont be quiet like at an orchestra - they WANT the feedback - to know what people like best!

The song at the end isn't from Warcraft 3. It is the music of the original (pre-BC) Intro-cinematic of World of Warcraft.

I can only agree wih taynio. I play in an orchestra myself AND I am a Blizzard-Fan. But it simply is annoying, aswell for the people listening, as also for the musicians themself, wenn the crowd is cheering and/or clapping during the play.

At least, that's my point of view... I would have kept silent, anyway.

I was there, fantasic weekend. As already said we were told too cheer etcf when ever we saw or heard something we liked. All video Games Live concerts are like this they encourage people to get involved with what they enjoy.

the essence of the performance went beyond just the piece of music the orchestra was playing. Yes, the music is the heart of the performance, and to mere spectators including musicians who don't play the games, it is all about the music. But to people who are familiar with the Blizzard games, this live performance sends chills down their to the spine. The applause you hear is just the side-effect, something a non-Blizzard fan would never understand. ;)

i play the game and i never payed attention until i realized this music would be way better hearing the real thingm, until i realized it was an orchetra (lol yes sounds a bit dumb) now i can enjoy the music and pay attention to it more because i would always turn the music off, it def puts part of the role play in WoW.

Yeah, he's right, before the concert started they were like, "Clap when you see something you like, don't be like, 'ooooh this is an orchestra, we can't clap...'" so we did (well not me cuz I was trying to hold the camera) although I do actually wish there was no clapping.

The director asked before start to the public to cheer as much as they feel to. They reuqested it.

Yeah, but we all know it ruins the musique. If it didn't/doesn't drown out the musique, I am fine with people cheering during. But, it always does. And it's just annoying during the times they cheer and over just.. it's rather irritating to me. If there's an orchestra playing, plain and simple, you know it's going to be good, and it commands respect and silence. That's how I see it, regardless if they welcome the cheering or not. How can you enjoy it if people are being loud idiots?

If you mean the very ending with that epic corus part the song is called A call to arms. If you look it up on youtube you'll find it. It starts out sounding like the barrens music but then evolves into that part. They decided to only play the epic corus part :P
