I love Bach..........but this dude isnt all that bad. if he didnt try and sound like Bach at all, we would have dumped SR a long time ago......I think he does a decent job. Just wish the original would get bach together!

This singer is overmatched. He is trying to sing like Sebastian and can't even hit the notes. Might be better if he tried to sing it his own way. I saw him a couple of years ago up in Cleveland, and I wasn't impressed with him then either. I didn't expect him to be Sebastian, but I thought they could do better than him.

As a former 80's burnout, Skid Row was one of my favorite bands growing up and for me, Quicksand Jesus was the epitome of this band...probably one of my top 3 or 4 songs of ALL time, from any band. And for someone who is not Sebastian Bach, by ANY stretch, I don't think he does too bad a job with it. He hit the notes for the most part, didn't hold them as long as Bach did, and that's probably on purpose. He knew when to quit. And not for nothing, but there were times when Bach sounded AWFUL live

This is so so. The guy does a good cover of it but he loses it in spots and get's completely off key. He can't hit all the notes. He's a damn fine vocalist, but it's just not the same. Long live THE ORIGINAL SKID ROW

He cannot hold the notes-that is why he doesn't even attempt to do so. You have to remember that he is 44 years old, and while Sebastian Bach is only 2 years younger on thw whole, he also sang/made popular/set the standard for this song when he himself was a mere 23 years old.... and had the pipes of a god to match. Could he hit the same notes today? Hard to say. Still a great song.
