While in Iraq, Zarqawi led several terror attacks, beheaded Nicholas Berg, and started al-Qaeda in Ira; Saddam paid the families of suicide bombers; he aided several other terrorists.

In late 2004 he joined al-Qaeda and pledged allegiance to Osama bin Laden and started AQI (al-Qaeda in Iraq). Bin Laden called Zarqawi "the Prince of al-Qaeda in Iraq".

Not that I have any problem with Scarborough generally speaking, but Lawrence is correct that Cheney was ignoring CIA analyst's assessments of WMDs in Iraq and was instead getting raw intelligence to do his own cherry picking analysis. Scarborough is partially incorrect about the "slam dunk" quote; it that was what Bush claimed Tenet said in a meeeting, this was when Bush sold him out to Bob Woodward for the book.
