Good stuff Tara, I hurt my back last week and am starting slow with these exercises. I can feel the improvement from the stretching in my lower back already...
It seems to me that the the cowface pose and then the addition of the forward bend with arms reaching over the back would help the hip abductors(?), the outside tiny muscles that many exercises do not really help. Am I seeing that right and if so, would you suggest other poses that help those muscles in particular? I find that in my HIIT sprints, that the left quad and the right abductor act like they are not stretched enough before the sprints, so this might be really helpful.
Hey Tara, Thanks again for this video. It's awesome!Great to see you have your own website now, I just wish they had free yoga with Tara Stiles in Southern California. Oh well, until next time. Take care.
I'm back! It was a short trip but really fun! Lots of good snorkeling and swimming! :) We stayed at the Rock House. I highly recommend. You can jump from your room into the ocean!
Yoga is great for back pain. I had a car accident in '02 and '03. I was plagued by lower back problems (herniated disc). I had started my practice this December and my back has been pain free. Thank you for the video, Tara. You make yoga for everyone.
where were u in this video? it looks immense! :P

Heya Tara
Thank u for uploading these vids, i have a question for u.
I've had bilateral hip replacement and it's only been like a year, but the latest one (Left one) the muscle doesn't seem to be healing.
I also have lumbar spondylitis in my lower back as well as the spine pelvis knees n fingers, it was passed down to me.
Would u say yoga would be ok for me to tone up n hopefully lose a little weight? if so then i'd like to follow ur vids.
:)xx

I think Tara Stiles is a little bit too flexible for me!! I can't bend a quarter of what she is bending. She makes me sick
