Better than lanyards attached to your back D-ring where you hit a minimum of 5 stepbolts and then head but the steel at up to 15 mph.
That might break your fall, but I recklon your balls would slam straight into the side of the tower once the deviced engaged. Brings tears to my eyes. Respect to all the linemen though.

MRV they do make fire retardant jeans now. Hopefully the climber in the video is wearing them.
