Cutting tips off is necessary only if the boomerang is too dense (in balsa) and wide angled .Skinny V shaped boomerang spin faster and DONT need to have the tips cut and glued . The flight quality is different though , so there will always be this method . This is a solution for balsa rangs It is also possible to wet balsa and bend in mold and let dry but that's involved and lengthy . Cut tips is fast and easy .

The weather was great and I was swamped by the crowd .Balsawood and kids rangs was all I could fly .Keeping the crowd out and back was a problem at times .

My big demo is tommorow .I will have new photos / videos of the cascade of these in flight soon . This video was to encourage other boomerang performers to warm up to balsa rangs .Come on their fun and slow motion returns .These dont break for experianced throwers .
