I've been to Canada in '08 for IIHF WHC and I liked it. I heave great deal of respect for CAN players, but RUS won that time, victory which was long overdue. Anyways, I met some cool people in CAN and I really enjoyed hockey. I think CAN.and RUS are the only two teams that are supposed to end up in finals, and it does not matter who wins, it is simply worth watching a SUPERMATCH!!! It was JUST like a drunk Russian guy screaming in the streets of Quebec "Canada's best, Russia supperbest!!!"

Even before this game I predicted Radulov and Kovalchuk making the Team for upcoming Olympics and Radulov did a great job when he scored the winner (if he didn't he would still get an invitation to the Olympic team)
I was actually at Ukraine during this event cause Im half Russian and I was visiting family so I just turned on the TV and watched the game, well its good that I'm full Canadian but then when Canada and Russia VS each other I'm happy and sad at the same time.
AMAZING Match, Canada tried but still Russia proved to be the better team , I love RUSSIA :D, i am russian.

mmm, well canada does have the home ice advantage, and even tho people are saying canada is the "favourite", (mostly becuase russia won it 2 years in a row, so canada will want revenge more than ever, + the home ice), russia is ranked #1 in would and canada is #2, by the IIHF... lol it would be funny if neither team makes the gold medal game, i guess they would just settle their differences in the bronz medal game... lol

Guys dont make exscuses about this, Im a Canadian through and through, when I get cut I bleed maple-fuckin-syrup..... but on this occasion the Russians beat us, fair and square. Props to Russia, in all honesty I am glad you beat us sometimes, I LOVE our rivalry, but you (both russians and my fellow canadians) should show respect, because the rivalry deserves nothing less.

Good lookin out man, Great win yesterday in the world jrs.... by far the most dominant russian team ive ever seen in the world jrs, and the crazy thing is we didnt know who any of them were. No big names like ovechkin and malkin but just an all around great team. Mad respect for never giving up, but we will not forget and will be comin for you in 2 years in Russia ;)

To be honest, I had not much hope after the second intermission, but I'm glad that I didn't go to bed. In europe the game ended at smth about 4 in the morning.

I've been to Canada in '08 for IIHF WHC and I liked it. I heave great deal of respect for CAN players, but RUS won that time, victory which was long overdue. Anyways, I met some cool people in CAN and I really enjoyed hockey. I think CAN.and RUS are the only two teams that are supposed to end up in finals, and it does not matter who wins, it is simply worth watching a SUPERMATCH!!! It was JUST like a drunk Russian guy screaming in the streets of Quebec "Canada's best, Russia supperbest!!!"

Even before this game I predicted Radulov and Kovalchuk making the Team for upcoming Olympics and Radulov did a great job when he scored the winner (if he didn't he would still get an invitation to the Olympic team)
