wats up with people saying parkour should not being in competitions?? its a sport now, yes it was born in the streets but dont take that seriously.. the athletes know that its only an undersize for them =D

Auch Ausdauer und technisch saubere Ausführung (somit Effizienz, also Energieeinsparungen) sollten wieder eine Rolle spielen!!!

This was never ment to be a sport. It is a way of living, not a sporting competition.

@Airus777 so what ur saying is that it cant be used as both? Soccer can also be a way of living for some ppl (who doesn't train it as a sport). It's just a question about perspective. I myself believe competitions are a good thing, since more ppl get to know this discipline this way. And i also believe that competitions help ppl improve in a faster rate. And besides, just look at the people that usually participate, dont they look happy/excited? and is that not more important?

I dont believe that ppl should compare their skills in parkour/freerunning with eachother to see who is the "best". that wud be wrong. and honestly, i dont really believe that ppl attend these competitions for that reason, the experience from these competitions seems to be something REALLY valuable. But this is just my opinion
