Did anyone notice this hole in the story of this episode?: The flashback showing Hoenheim with Pinako, it shows her as a young woman. And obviously now, she's an old woman. But she mentions Ed and Al, which is impossible because they wouldn't have been born until another several decades in the future.

The ending was worth watching an entire episode of flashbacks. Everyone stating their resolve at a different point, hohenheim resolving to protect humans and how they played the last ending song while the episode still played before playing a new ending.
