Ok I have added EXTRA details in description down the very bottom.

To FIND the 'hosts' file an easier way is click 'start' then click 'run' and put 'C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\e­tc' into the box then click ok. Now check the extra description fo what to do next in description!!!!

To update run bitdefender and down the bottom should be a button saying update. Or you can go to stteings and update in there

i have Bitdefender total security 2009 expire in 14354days 0r year 2045 :)

1. Install BitDefender Totalsecurity 2009 on your machine, Restart after installation completed

2. Maked sure that BDTS is working fine in trail mode for 30 days

3. Double click on patch, select the installed product and Now press ok

4. Patch will asks to restart your Pc, Restart your PC Manually.

5. After Restarting Your Trail version will be full version for year 2047

6. Now you can Update online also !!!!

I tried the process myself at least 2 dozen times. there only seems to be at least 8 to 10 different randomized keygen's, used them all with the proper procedure as listed. Either get EXPIRED or INVALID key. :(

Have you made sure it isnt read only? If not you need to right click on host, properties, and there is a box saying read only u need to make sure that isnt checked. If it still doesnt work reply.
