Not remembering something does not mean it didn't happen. We do not know for certain that we have only one life. If there is a soul and it can survive our organism's death and enter a new one, why not?
However, I do not have memories, like you, and I don't even know souls are real, so it is good to be pragmatic, believe the worst-case, that we only have one life to live and defend, so in the end, I believe in adopting your viewpoint, but not due to faith, but assuming the worst.
And think how different your "soul" is now than 10 years ago or when you were 1 year old!
And you think that if your energy was in another body in another brain with different memories and experiences 200 years old that was still "your" soul?
This is certainly correct, I think it depends on what kind of reincarnation is believed in. I forget a lot of things yet still consider myself me, sorta. I mean, I feel like part of me died if it`s something important, but sometimes when I strain, I am able to pull it up from the subconcious and remember it.
In the case of reincarnation, I think some people describe it that way. Perhaps also, maybe it is like the soul watches what the new mind thinks, until eventually they merge
do you really believe in reincarnation?
I don't remember previous life.
I think that we have only 1 life. That's why Immortality Rings are necessary.

But your soul IS your memory, your mind!
