  • 1 2 3 is usually at the bottom

  • Sorry to say, but you still left artifacts at 1:46

  • Hey, I saw that in the store the other day! It can do this too! Damn >.> I want one.

  • puase at 1:51 nice try at video editing

  • Hmm.. i got a guess on how u did it...

Did you like.. use a piece of paper for the numbers and then when u pressed it you stopped recording and then put the paper on the part where the numbers show up and continued? Its obviously not a stop motion...

But like.. did you record and stop recording several times to do this?

    lol

course you could have used a real calculator to get the answer lol X3

  • not a bad idea at all XD

  • Very cool and funny. However, as stupid as internet people can be, not everyone is going to fall for that... If OLED 'paper' existed, it wouldn't be debuting in a random Youtube video. I can think of two ways of doing this:

    1) The aforementioned stop motion

    2) A touchscreen device covered with the (a) spine of a binder with removed paper or (b) screen actually displaying a notebook picture under the writing layer

Then, just 'draw' the buttons where invisible hitspots already exist.

  • @SomeWeirdFreak

I am regret to tell you that all your guesses are wrong.

    Thank you for your comments.

  • @goolen2001 I am regret to tell you that even with my wrong guesses, I highly doubt you're really fooling anyone here. Yes, there is small OLED tech, but this is not likely such. Also, if this was 'OLED paper,' (b) of my second guess would be essentially that: an electronic device reading touch input and displaying something based on it. Lastly, given the questionable nature of this, with no evidence to suggest it's real, calls into question the truthfulness of my being 'wrong.'

  • @SomeWeirdFreak

    Hahaha.... still wrong.

You are funny. I think you must be just a kid or teenager.

    Study hard, my friend.

  • @SomeWeirdFreak u people r to damn smart how about hey man that was pretty cool how you did that i dont know how but either way it was neat keep it up make some other stuff like that owww like a pac man notebook that would be awesome lol

  • LOL

  • lol 1:02

  • So tell me... # x 4 = ? its more like a cellphone.

  • Many viewers have misunderstand.

This is not a stop motion!

  • the only thing that irks me is how did you erase so well, not even a smudge d:

  • Well done xD This is pretty smart, but I'm guessing it was simple to do. Simple, but elegant :P

  • lolç

  • Touchscreen Paper? I want some of that.

  • can i use it at school?

  • Normal calculator has number 1 at the bottom :), but still really well done :)

  • öööööööööööööööööööööööööööööde!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • o i think i know you made the video with you punching in the numbers at the bottom and then you took several pics showing the numbers at the top, later when you were done with that you put them together you cut the top out and paste it exactly were it was since you didnt move anything it seemed like the calculator actually worked

  • Cool. I can't find mine so now I know I can just draw one up and get on with my calculations. Thanks.

  • hha i thought it was boring the i skipped ahead and u where pushing buttons lmao

  • wow, not bad, grat on making people, believe, i'm still trying to keep my sisters believeing in the tooth fairy

  • I figured it out! The camera is still, so all he has to do is make the a semi transparent copy of what he did at the bottom on the computer to make it slightly change with the shows, and just animate it on the computer. Sorry if i am hard to understand. :)

  • what sort of pen is that?

  • @thefontofwisdom magic :)

  • its a stop motion Duuh look at the numbers THEY DON't MATCH .!!!!!!!!

  • nice good job

  • hahahah Nice

  • Comment removed

  • lol

  • LOL

  • lmao!

  • lol good job

  • ultimate tecnology xD

  • No way!

  • it kind of looks fake.....

  • its not i have one and it works awsome xD

  • Holy shit is this real or bullshit honnest question

  • its filmtrick i can do it but it takes good time

  • can you please teach me how to do this; it would really help during math class.

  • fly pen?

  • these dudes got a lot of time to waste

  • That's definitely not wasted time.

  • that looks so cool.

  • Perfect... well thought vid

  • its like really thick to you can tell

  • thats wat she said

  • sos un hijo de reputa sorete yanki

  • Easy home made post production.

  • cool where can i get one

  • that was actually pretty well done (the timing of the sop motion that is)

  • Many peoples thought this is just a stop motion, but it is not.

  • then how exactly did you do it? cause there is no other explanation

  • The ways of doing it are limitless. Always keep on learning. Don't just safisfy with the limited knowledge that you have now.

  • hahahaha, really? your gonna try and pull that one out? wow, haha, thats funny

  • lol. dont try that BS

its a well made vid, good on ya but

how are u going to explain how the numbers appeared?

wait wait, i know... electrically charged carbon paper

    :D

  • Also even if they did appear spontaneously, they would stay consistent with either your handwriting or the font that was programmed into it. At the end of the video when there are several numbers on the calculation you can see that the same number is written differently (like for instance, the four "8"s.

  • OLED

  • @jameswhatsit If it were real, he would've shown the inner workings of this thing. :)

  • @goolen2001 it is stop motion... the numbers change when typed (visually)

  • hmmmm in post you twat. could be afterafter effects. flash. doesnt matter. but its not stop motion.

  • nice one XD

  • very nice

  • fly pen i hav it its easier

  • hahahahaha nice !

  • Nice!

  • WHAT THE FRICK!! WE TRIED IT WHILE HE WAS DOING IT...IT DIDNT WORK...BULL CRAP....we also know how he did it....his number dont match the ones in the awnser box...WTH!!! shgj hfrxyzetw54786t97hy suck

  • gum

  • nice stopmotion

  • Could this video be any slower?

  • yah this is bull the numbers in the computer screen are dif than the ones u drew

  • lol i should get a notebook like this, then it wont look like im cheating during a math test! :D

  • If you're not joking around about it being the notebook, can you tell me where you can get that kind of notebook? Otherwise just don't bother responding >_> lol.

  • thats awesome! good job. that would be cool if this was real someday ha ha lol about the pound sign

  • oh wow

  • Cool animation but I don't understand why does it contain # and * when this is for phones? Moreover there is no comma.

  • You can tell its fake because if it copies your #'s that you wrote before, how come the #'s in the "calculator screen" are different from the ones drawn. haha. you cant trick me

  • because it will use characters built into the system. haha. you can't trick me.

  • oh it's fake? DUH!

  • I'll give you 0 stars and flaging your video for lying to the people.BTW Cool flash animation. And you forgot to draw one of ''4''s lines.

  • dude honestly who gives a shit

  • lol!

  • that is so cool :D

  • its not touch paper they just pause the recording and draw it in and then record again so it looks as though its been pressed when its not.... get smart people

  • This is just a modification of the existing technology.

  • @SiViACK3D there are actualy many ways of doin this one , he could very simply edit the 'screen' that shows the result, or he could just add the letters with a video editing software or many more!!!! do you feel smart now?

  • Lol calculators dont have star or pound signs.

  • haha i noticed that too

  • smart

  • Mine won't work. do I need batteries ... :-P

  • it draws power from USB. : )

  • positive on negative ?

  • GOD I LOVE TOKYO!!!!!!!!

  • ...the fuck?

  • very nice edit it looks like it took some effort

  • its touchpaper :D

  • i can tell its edited because if it really had 2 sensors and all that crap it would take the same exact writing from the number for the buttons and transfer them to the box at the top. but it doesnt cuz the 8,6,5,9,etc. You can easily see. but very nicely done with the editing!! i will give you props for that but not that you lied so whatever.

  • it could be a simple editing trick, he writes and then erases cause its laminated paper

  • nope, wrong answer. :P

  • If it's laminated, it would have a reflection. It's just computer editing.

  • friki

  • Pretty cool done, but c'mon... dont lie to the people. '2 sensors are attached to the notebook to sense the vibration and calculate the movements of XY axis' no one will believe that... -_-

But nice done anyways, I'll give you 3 stars for lying to the people.

  • that's fake...

  • It is ok for those who work hard to make it happened and take credit of it. I salute them. Wish them to make the world a better place for all living beings.

  • awesome

  • You realise that not only will this be perfectly possible within about 2 years (once e-Ink/e-Paper displays are able to refresh fast enough) but that everyone working on e-Ink/e-Paper technology has seen your video and is now rushing to be the 1st to write (& take credit for) it!

  • :D forgoten the = button XD

  • D: jeepers... I actually thought it was real for a long time until I scrolled down and read some comments. I was gonna ask if we could see the insides. :)

  • Good trick

  • That was fun! Reminded me a bit of A-HA's now-famous early 80's music video

  • Simpatic, I like it

  • looool nice video dude ahah XD

  • POOP

  • POOP is funny as hell. How come people tag it bad :(

  • That must have taken allot of your time lol

  • Just one to 2 hours.

  • u suck

  • be happy. Do no evil, cultivate good and purify own mind.

  • how do u make it work... i tryed i took a pen and a piece of lined paper and followed yur steps but it aint workin .... do uhave to have a special kind of pen and paper ???? :S

  • haha...

    It is magic.

  • i no tht but like its sooo frusterating.... can you tell me plzz ???

  • It is visual effects.

I shoot it with webcam, and edit it with Adobe after effects.

  • huh... im sorry i dont speek technology i dint get tht

  • Unfortunately it is done by technology, using video editing softwares.

    It is fake.

If you really want to know how I do it, I have to produce a video tutorial.... :(

  • do u rewrite it?

  • fake deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrr

  • maybe it is fly paper or somthing

  • sta chido!!

  • if that was real it would be freakin awesome

  • But it's ALREADY REAL.

  • its the fly pen and paper

  • no it's not i have 1 they're so different

  • how u can do that?

    the animation and u moving

    jhflsh

    i want to learn it

  • lol! zxxinyoface everyone knows that.... lol i laughed when he forgot the equal sign

  • fake

  • No shit...

  • well aderrrrrrrrr

  • no decimal....good job

  • you can see so many other better ones. search paper calculator and u'll get a lot of better ones

  • LOL! I love it!
