  • I am 3 blocks from the original location for Kemp Mill Records actually IN Kemp Mill. SO classic...back when my biggest worry was finding that extra 5 dollars to buy the newest album.

  • Man...that breaking records thing was their claim to fame. We lived in Alexandria, VA from '80 to '83, and there were similar commercials...except the announcer was a MALE. And yeah, I used to tag along with Pops when he went to Kemp Mill Records, Waxie Maxie, and towards the end of our time in the area...EROL'S! The good ol' days!!!

  • I remember this commercial. My friend and I joked about it and wrote the script in our yearbooks!

  • I've been waiting for an old Kemp Mill Records commercial! I bought the album advertised here at Waxie Maxies - another GREAT store from a great (and sadly gone) era.
