I very much like the Muslim Quranic verse which says, "In the end God will explain all that you have been arguing and wondering on". There's definitely things in the bible I'm spectacle about that's why i plan on following Islam soon and may convert. So children raised by gay or lesbian parents are not more likely than any other to be homosexuals; in school we had at least 5 kids w/ ss parents and all of them identify as hetero. And yes LGBTQ youths are 4x more likely to attempt/commit suicide but that more than likely comes from mental anguish caused by peers.

If kids learn about homosexuality at that age from random sources (society) and receive possibly incorrect or biased information from such sources, I rather they learn it in school and filled in with the correct information. In those "good old days," gay people routinely lost their jobs, were thrown in jail for no reason, beat up by police, denied basic services and could have their lives destroyed just for being found out. I very much like the Muslim Quranic verse which says, "In the end God will explain all that you have been arguing and wondering on". There's definitely things in the bible I'm spectacle about that's why i plan on following Islam soon and may convert. I feel that it is the true word of God and what Jesus has been truly teaching, and the Quran itself is very calming to read and listen to. I recommend you listen to it and get more info. I do still believe in most of my Catholic faith.

@aarontheman9196 there is no correlation betwixt parental sexuality and the sexuality of the children (I'm studying bio anthropology)...if so all the children would be heterosexual. So children raised by gay or lesbian parents are not more likely than any other to be homosexuals; in school we had at least 5 kids w/ ss parents and all of them identify as hetero. And yes LGBTQ youths are 4x more likely to attempt/commit suicide but that more than likely comes from mental anguish caused by peers.

I never did anything to Robby never even spoke to him. but he cornered me, hit me, kicked me, spat on me and would have killed me if Henry, a friend of his hadn't pulled him off and protected me. @aarontheman9196 I conceded that the gay kid in your story should not have been sexually harassing anyone and that the boy reacted like anyone would have and calling it a hate crime was a stretch and that it was manslaughter at best, then I gave an example of a hate crime. And I don't have sex in the street and don't know anyone that does. I do hold my husbands hand from time to time and I've kissed him at an airport but everyone does that.

You want to know how many straight guys/girls that I see around my school that flaunt THEIR sexuality? Walking through the halls grabbing their crotch, slapping girls asses, etc? These types of things occur in EVERY sexuality.

If kids learn about homosexuality at that age from random sources (society) and receive possibly incorrect or biased information from such sources, I rather they learn it in school and filled in with the correct information. If I tell my young son it is ok to be homosexual and fill him in on correct info, I shouldn't be accountable for his homosexual trials because children are curious and that if he is indeed heterosexual he will stop when he reaches puberty, but much more likely when hes bored

In those "good old days," gay people routinely lost their jobs, were thrown in jail for no reason, beat up by police, denied basic services and could have their lives destroyed just for being found out. The stress of hiding lead to high rates of suicide, alcohol and drug addiction, and mental illness. There is no way we will go back.
