Can you tell me the name of the patch you used on 1:54 dude? I have b4 II as well, i'm looking for a similar patch that doesn't turns "filthy" when i'm rocking out with big chords or lots of notes :)
Hi, can I ask how you learned all this? Did you learn it from listening to the songs, or from sheets, since it sounds very close to the original (Really great!). If so, could you please point me to where you found them ? Thanks for the great vid!
Your fingers are doing everything approximately correct, but the synthesizer is lacking that rich full tone of a B-3. Sounds are just wave forms, so it leaves me scratching my head why a hammond can sound so unique.
sounds nice! Can you maybe help me with the sound? I was wondering if you know how to create the sound, working with Logic Pro 9? Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
Hi - great video. I have a Motif 6 keyboard - can you tell me how to get the deep purple sound (hammond organ plus accompanying background music) on to it? Appreciate your help.
i've joint a hardrock music group and i am looking for an organ in emergancy. i really liked this one. this exactly deep purple organ. can you tell me the full name of that organ pleasE?
You know, you are fast becomming my favourite keyboardist on this site! Kudos Man! Are you into any other keys, (E.L.P.for example)? Do'nt get me wrong, I'm a Jon Lord Nut myself, just would love to hear you work out on "Hoedown" for example! If I can ever figure out how to do some video recording of myself, i'll post some! Rock on,Cristian! Roy.
Aahhh! DEEP PURPLE will never die!Had to go put on speed king after this!good for the soul. no offense to Steve Morse but man I would like to see Yngwie Malmsteen play with Purple and tell him the less notes he plays the more money he will make per gig with a big bonus for note to note Ritchie B playing I bet that would kick ass!And Im glad to hear native Instruments B4 is capable of this. gotta go get more ram for my protools and get B4 nice perfect strangers tone2!
The last one from Anthem gained me most.I love Jon Lord's works during Rod Evans era like in Shield,Hey Joe...It's a pity there are no scores for them, cause I don't have such a musical ear like you.Anyway, another great performance on your account.Congrat's and Deep Purple forever!
Hi, I hope you don't mind if I answer the question: Black Night is simple, you just pull the firs four drawbars out fully and turn the overdrive to max. Child in time is: 808800000 with 2nd percussion(or less, for example 505500000 to accentuate the percussion more).
Great as always, I wish you posted more often. There are so many great DP organ works you haven't played yet. BTW, what drawbar setting have you used for When a Blind Man Cries?
dear christian i'm a keyboarder and a fan of deep purple like you, unfortunately in italy is very difficult find the excatly keys of a band can you tell me some free site where i can find that?
Hey Cristian ... that sounds really great! it is hard to find somebody with such a good feeling for that kind of music, but you are the man! awesome! another question, all the sounds that you used came from the motif ES? i am planing to buy one, and i am specially interested in organ and lead sounds. keep rocking, best regards from Brazil!
black nite Child in time When a blind man cries Lazy Might just take your life ( intro ) Perfect Strangers ( intro ) Space truckin'( some impro ) Maybe I'm a Leo Highway star Speed king ( intro ) Anthem .
terrific to see good musicians inspired by great musicians. could you try a song by emerson lake and palmer called TANK it,s on their 1st or 2nd album and it,s pretty much based around the one scale.i saw a bollywood indian movie and 'child in time 'was used in one of the songs but the words were obviously different. thanks again and great playing

Super! Thanks for putting this up (and the time it took to do the setups) and reminding us what an incredible library of music and talent that was Deep Purple.

on a hammond L-100/122 for Child in Time the drawbarsetting are just the first four, and second perc.
