Why does a comment that says "God make them feel better up there" is on the top?
If you're going to wait for God to do stuff for you, you're in for a lonely and miserable life yourself.
There's no "up there". If you see a lonely miserable old man and you feel sad, you should do something nice for them yourself, listen to them for awhile even if it's boring, go for a walk in the park, a kiss, even a warm smile is enough.
I hate it when people neglect their lives for religion!

As a matter of fact, the institutionalization of religion (chritianity, islam, judaism, etc) has used religious arguments to wage most of the wars in the world. I'm not saying religions make wars, I'm just saying that the blindly abiding without critical thinking of such ideas is dangerous. The "God make them feel good up there" is a small but prime example of that.

@MariaQueenyVladyDady I don't believe in God and my life is not empty or devoid of meaning, on the contrary, I view humanity in a much more humane way religion ever could, and I founded my beliefs not in absolute truth's (like the God concept) because there are none but in logical and therefore scientifically proven relative truths. If you're really interested on the subject of the meaning of life, I suggest you read more on both sides of the coin and then read the middle: Sam Harris.

Beliefs affect people's life's and that's why sometimes women get stoned to death and children get beaten in public schools in america. It's not all bad, it's just random. I'm not saying our belief system should guide our human flourishing. I'm saying our human flourishing should guide our belief system. But that requires scientific thinking and experimentation.

@qazxsweee You're an idiot, oxygen gas can't be visible to the naked eye, in gas form is colourless, liquid oxygen however has a light blue colour and can be visible, the same particles that constitute oxygen gas can give a different colour depending on its entropy. "i don't believe in air", oxygen as opposed to god can be tested, and therefore proven by experiments, god in the other hand... :)
