I do enjoy listening to Buk read his poetry even though he hated doing the readings. Got to be in my top 2,000 of his poems. Thanks for posting this video!
yeh. He seems to make you choose your words wisely and then laugh as you might at yourself aswell. I'm not sure if he intended a bluff to actually insight people to jabber heartfully or shut up. Good words nonetheless!
Their finest Art...human paradox as Art...wishing the opposite were average...seeking only reflections... finding only perfect hate...their finest Art.
well, it seemed to me when he said, " their hatred will be perfect
like a diamond like a mountain, ... this was a cold calculated crystal clear
zero degree kelvin kind of hatred- i rember i was going to use another word than tragic- but it was even worse, but i agree tragic seems too easy ,or too sentimental, uhg, now i think im kind of embarresed about the whole remark, although i can stand by the permafrost idea.
'sokay man it's like happening.it's all happening.... oh the humanity!the horror....the horror.tragic permafrost? what is the tragic permafrost of man?and why did you say man? ¬ HUman? that's gonna perplex me the rest of the day....feh!
bukowski was the poet and the writer who talked about the dark side of life, women, men and all the mankind, and he did it amazingly. This poem is the perfect definition for the humankind
