I am a Pakistani and i have been listening to VIshal Bharadwaj (Music Director) for a while, actually since Machis.

While Mr. A R Rehman has been fantastic, his graph has been falling for the past 10 years, on the other hand, VIshal just produces fantastic music once a year, every year.

I think on consistency and originiality, Vishal is bollywood's best music director.

Yet the fact is that he WANTS to fall in love - indeed finds himself helpless in the face of it - despite only but completely recognizing the irony of such behavior at his age.

So it's not so much that he can't but that he cannot *bring himself to* sever the connection - the reshmi dor analogy.

And his is a fairly macho character in the movie; so it's not physical but emotional inability that is being referenced here.
