When I think about it, even though this is a really good song, it's not all that special thematically. It's about someone who's a music snob and how he's gotten over that. It's kind of disappointing to know that. On the one one level, there are so many people like that, and it only poisons music, which should be considered a community, not a hierarchy. On the other level it's uncomfortable to know how hard it really is to strive for originality. :/

@brownsound07 I disagree. LCD Soundsystem IS James Murphy, and nothing more. I think part of the allure is Murphy himself. It's easy to hide behind some ridiculously overproduced BS music video that has nothing to do with the band. Some of the best music videos feature the bands themselves. It was once said that artists need "3 albums to find themselves". This Is Happening is exactly that. IMHO, the first two albums are too easy, anyone can like them. TIH is different, it challenges you.
