Stan, you should:

- Kill the chickens to get the meat (and then cook it)

- Harvest tree leaves to get apples

Also, mobs can no longer wake you up while sleeping. But instead, you can't sleep if mobs are near. Which means you actually don't need to close your hole before you sleep.

Stan,instead of just destroying the dirt every time you enter/exit your home,why not create a trapdoor that you can open with a lever? It's more convenient and mobs still won't be able to access you. Just a thought.

stan, bit of info, that bar above your toolbar is your mana, which you gain by killing things. you use mana at altars to charge up your weapons to deal more damage. you can find altars in the netherworlds, so for now, just forget about it :D

@stanburdman What gheith001 told you isn't really true. The green bar is actually experience, and the numbers is your level. To use the levels, you need an enchanting table, which you can make with 2 diamonds, 4 obsidian, and one book.

@stanburdman hes wrong...its called the exp bar and you use it with a tool (sword pickaxe bow axe and shovel) on an enchantment table which can be made from 4 obsidian (3 on bottom one in 2nd row of middle) 2 diamond gems (1 on the left side of the middle one on the right) and 1 book (on the middle of the top row)
