  • @dellarwoowoo It would make more sense saying 4 people are father dick bryne as he is ted's enemy and lost in the competion to get to eurovision from ted in this episode.

  • is this for real??

  • @MsTman23 He wrote it for Father Ted. So yes.

  • @MsTman23 Sorry, that wasn't meant to sound as horribly sarcastic and scathing etc. as it did.

  • love thissssssssss!!

  • @eimead

    Ahahahaha! :D

  • @eimead Yeah, I am sick off seeing the Hooganotes get ripped off constantly by jokers like this!

  • @sherwoodfella Forgive ignorance here got to ask who are the Hooganotes? Typed both that and ving hoogan into Google, Yahoo, You Tube and Wiki and nothing comes up, would be interested to hear some of it so I can compare it to this the frontman of Divine Comedy...

  • @gteage Do you watch Fr Ted? in the Eurovision episode the Hooganotes (sic) were the band credited with writing the song that ultimately became My Lovely Horse. It was a b side and supposedly was a very unknown song so Ted thought he might 'borrow' the tune and change the lyrics...but of course it backfired spectacularly!

  • @25pappy Thanks for the info, it's been a long time since I've seen any of Father Ted, will have to re-watch it :)

  • @25pappy Well everyone involved in the song was killed in a plane crash - the band, all the record company staff and everyone involved with the copyright.

  • @gteage lololololololololololololololol

  • @gteage - Yeah, they aint a reall band. My fault, I assumed all on here would be Father Ted viewers ; )

  • @sherwoodfella To be fair Hannon has written plenty of his own original stuff, he just did a humourous cover of a song (by a band who are let's face it not very well known...)

  • @howiej103 I don't think it is a cover version if it is a song you wrote...

  • @howiej103 - I was only kidding mate, I am a father Ted fan and thats tghe band Dougal says did this song. Hannon is one of my all time hero's!

  • @eimead thanks for making my day, that's the funniest comment I've read on youtube for ages...

  • @saintlee2008 cheers, credit to graham and arthur obviously.

  • @eimead It was origanaly written for ""Father Ted".................soooooooooooooooo
