Down loaded same vid from bmwusa website, but couldn't get his voice.Thank you, he sounds like he is really having fun. Man , I just had my 330i serviced, and need to go for a side myself. So please, lead follow or get out of the way!!!
As badass as the BMW M3 GTR sounds and moves, it's pretty tame compared to the cars Hans-Joachim Stuck has competed with in the past -- the 635-hp 956 and safer 962s, as well as March Formula open-wheeled cars... so this must seem like a saloon drive in the country for him. :D Not to mention the legendary Hans Stuck was his dad, and his entire prep for racing came on the '60s Nürburgring. Respect. ;)
The Isle of Man is an amazing, incredible open road course, no doubt. I've always viewed it as a race exclusively for motorcycles and what is it, side cars?
Yeah, it's my take on what it must sound like inside the BMW..Plus I love how Stuck brings his obvious enthusiasm to the task and wants us to share the rush with him.At least that's my take on it. Plus wishing I was in a companion racer trying to keep up (fat chance) and managing to avoid an off course excursion at 180 which might end with me getting to say "hi there" to a large tree.
Thanks. Actually, it's a very slight reverb which might seem stronger since I took two versions of the sound track, spread things out over six channels before mixing down to two. An audio editor might object to the balance of engine vs. voice, but I mixed it to my ear kind of as if we were riding in the car and Hans had to yell over the engine noise to be heard.
Straight six or the V8 ? Anybody?

I love this, especially the point at the start of Kesselchen where I think he says "You need at least 1,000 horse power here" A real racing driver.

@WestLAGuy Yes, you're right. But do also know a reverseback program for the PC ?
350362 1 year ago
@350362 I'm afraid I may be way behind the curve from a technology standpoint. What is a reverseback program ?
WestLAGuy 1 year ago
@WestLAGuy It's something like the equalizer from your soundcard of your PC; like Realtek Sound Manger HD, for example.
And in your first comment-answer, you said that you've splitted two channels in 6. But how do you've done that ?

Great video. Where did you get the English commentary for this lap? I only know of the German one.
