Conditioners with a lot of moisturizer is good. adding all the product weights your hair dwn and take longer to dry. I have very puffy dry hair. I just use clarifying shampoo about once a month conditioner wash with a moisturizing shampoo and comb while in the shower nd tie up. then i put leave in and rub some extra virgin olive oil in my hair nd a little bit of gel to contain frizz and air dry. Yu can use an old t shirt to shrunk and get the water out of ur hair or try plopping. good luck.
I like it it's not frizzy and it's tamed seems like you don't need extra product! And the reason that your bottom half was more wet is because it's straighter than the rest of your hair due to heat and is able to hold more moisture because it's straighter and thinner. hth
