  • Hi! that's amazing! Which program did you used to make this 3D animation?

  • thats awsome

  • why has i watching this video :D?

  • @xGCALx I didnt know i had a stupid, no matter how high quality an image is, when it is displayed it is displayed with a bunch of pixels, you're the stupid one.

  • foreal?

  • wow looks fake

  • If i had a dollar for every pixel I'D BE RICH!

  • isn't real? D:

  • haha there is no 0:09 ;D

  • @pissy1100 tard

  • @pissy1100 how the hell did you catch that... but yeah there is no 9th

  • @pissy1100 yeah there is...

  • @WhyDidIBuyThis not for me

  • @danne249 you all have very strange internet connections then, when i click 0:09 i can see the last section of the rotation. :)

  • Looks so real!

  • i cant even tell if this is fake,,,,great job

  • nice render nice everithing congratulations good work :D

  • so beast

  • yup i agree well done

  • that must be an expensive item

  • wow wow wow..graet job man..

  • WHAT

  • It's very beautiful.

  • so you buy the sofware then what, buy a 15,000 cad machine rather make it buy hand at least then it wont look so cheap

  • @jimbob202019 cad machine?!?! whats a cad machine? you mean cam machine? anyway the visual is useful for investors, or to choose the materials to be used before cutting expensive materials etc

  • O_O ... HOLY MAMA !!

  • thats pretty good ,, more glitches than hymbergs v version , but excellent rendering none the less

  • teach me master!

  • I own my casting company..I am also a fully certified goldsmith Euoropean master diploma..These CAD models are the greateast invention ever!!..But Unfortunately..Most often, the creators are nothing more than a good computer programmer..Yes sir..I can tell..just by looking at the models I receive at work...No idea of what can be cast in Platinum...White golds...and what about cleaning and polishing the casting??? I had the misfortune to see one of my casting finished!! OMG!! S$%$%!!

  • @swanzenswanzen the creators of these kind of stuff are usually a better modeller than programmer :3

  • Awesome. where is the matrix?

  • Wow, amazing job! Render time must have been crazy long... Looks like a lot of fps.

  • woah ho ho ho ho ho!

  • WOAH. That must need a pretty good GPU AND CPU

  • @xNfs4masterSx Rendering doesn't affect the GPU that much (actually it doesn't affect it at all). Rendering depends on the CPU. If you have a single core CPU, then it will take more and if you have dual core (or better: quad) then the render time will be much shorter.

  • @premiumbright10 Are u aware that GPU handles the Graphics? Its easy to bake the mesh, but to display it needs GPU

  • @xNfs4masterSx Wrong, yes in your computer games the GPU does handle the graphics but in rendering it's all CPU work (unless you use CUDA, which wasn't used here). The only thing your GPU does in this case is display the image rendered by the cpu which isn't much harder then a normal windows invironment.

  • wow

  • I'm a guy, but after seeing this I have the sudden urge to go buy this. GREAT JOB!

  • wait...this is real right?

  • thats amazing

  • made with inventor?

  • thats the detail i want my pc games to have

  • Looks like every other fake piece of Chinese jewelry Ive seen

  • vray and 3ds max rulz!

  • @w4rh34d1 This was done with a CAD program, so not 3ds max... And I don't think they used Vray to render

  • ...wow. Can we say, eons of render time? Looks like something you'd see on hsn.

  • Wow?

  • aaaaaa

  • hey how do u make a lot of broken stuff come together and form into text, eg broken text comes to text?

  • @Devin6gw make text break and reverse it

  • O.o

  • Rendertime? 10 hours?

  • probably more something like 30 to 60 minutes ;)

  • ok thx

  • @AndreasM7 try 30

  • @AndreasM7 10 days*

  • @AndreasM7 for an animation that really wouldn't be all that bad, thats like 2.4 mins per frame. mirror finish is always easy to render though, not so quick for the rocks though!

  • @AndreasM7 it says at the bottom of the screen -- 0h 0m 36.0s | VRay Core 1.49.84 | Render Time 0h 0m 36.0s

    (just sayin :P)

  • @AndreasM7 i htink its much more :S

  • @AndreasM7 10 hours isnt much. NOT AT ALL!

  • @AndreasM7 With pentium 4? Yeah..

  • WOW MAN SICK

  • This is why, if some day Morpheus comes to me, and tells me that we are living in a computer generated world, I'll go like: "Yup, bean expecting you..." It is crazy how realistic renders have become. Nice one.

  • Believe it or not... The idea that the faculty of life (our universe) is comparative to a quantum computer dates back to the 50's when Isaac Asimov wrote "The Last Question."

  • I can't believe this hack stole your render work Travis and your model Kent ! Thank our Government for pandering to China and not requiring better copyright and patent protection as just one condition of trade.

  • how many hour you wait for renderin :)

  • Render by Travis Serio

    Model by Kent West

  • I rendered this in about 20 minutes.

  • For more check the VRay Jewelry thread at the asgvis forum. I have the original animation posted there without this terrible youtube compression as well as a few more.

  • Wait, this is computer generated? What? Can we like, predict how actual light acts to 99.9% accuracy or something?

  • More like 30% but yeah

    it's pretty fucking awesome.

  • we can predict what a light ray does given we know everything about it and stuff in its path, a key point with computer simulations are diffuse reflect/refractions which are... well not easy

  • aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • wow! I mean... W O W!!!

  • weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee nice man!!

  • i agree you are a rich guy :D Nice work dude!.

  • nice work awesome!

  • what hdri stands for?

  • High Dynamic Range Imagery

  • Your kidding, you modeled this? I do a bit of modeling just as a break from special fx, but that was excellent work. Very realistic.

  • no this is a re post. the model is from kent west from gemvision.. and the render is from travis something or other.. i forget the guys last name. also works along with gemvision. but very good render.

  • i keep on hearing v-ray and mental-ray can anyone explain to me what exactly are they?

  • They're software renderers.

  • can you explain please, the difference between the two, at the moment i use mental-ray.

  • mental ray is the standard renderer that comes with 3dsmax (other than the default scanline). It's quite good but not entirely realistic. V-Ray is a seperate (and very expensive) plug-in which enables you to render things with incredible realism.

  • haha u mean that MentalRay is not entirely realistic????....thats bullshit I love mentalray , even pro studios like to use MentalRay as their render engine...and Vray sucks that's my opinion...xD

  • Mental Ray is excellent. I never said it wasn't. V-Ray is just a slight cut above and very over-priced for something that is marginally better... lol. I use the scan-line renderer when I'm not making the final render and the results you can get with that are sometimes quite amazing too.

In terms of the amount you can do; VR>MR>SL

    but in terms of bang-for-buck; MR>VR>SL :)

  • yeah ur right with that...if u know how to use scanline renderer u can get really amazing results..sorry ma english sucks...with (slight cut above and very over priced for something that is marginally better)...u mean that Vray is better than Mentalray?? xD hehe c'mon be easy on me...use easy words...:P

  • :D I mean that V-Ray is only a little bit better than Mental-Ray and not worth the money :)

  • :D:D now we understand eachother...:P

but what makes u think that Vray is a lil bit better than MR??? tell me why u think that...I'm not a Vray user.. I do everything with Mentalray....so u gotta xplain me why ur saying that...:P

  • what is 'real'? it simply signals to our brain... our mind makes it real.....this vid reminds of that quote from morphoeus...man

  • great work.

  • That is SICK!K!!K!!!!!

  • Very realistic, great materials.

  • Wonderful!♦ nunca en mi vida he visto algo así tan espectacular.... great job.

  • Its super... But... It easy greate?

  • REAL????

  • Its rendered

  • XD****

  • This i like very much :)

  • YOU my friend have A SHIT LOAD OF ADVERTISEMENT OPPORTUNITIES THAT ARE GOING TO COME YOUR WAY

  • Beautiful...

  • wow looks real

  • @deathFROMabov82

    ....its not real?

  • REALLY NICE

  • Très impressionant =O !!

  • freakin gorgeous

  • Rendertime?

  • impersionant

  • wow...nice job. love the reflections

  • shit this nice...

    good job man!!!:)

  • I can only imagine how long that took to render

  • wow! awesome! You really need to put up some tutorials on that...

  • wow, that looks really good :D

  • looks like real,good job

  • Cool

  • Yes..Gemvision is a company name...Their software cost as much as 3ds max cost or Maya...I could never pay that much for a jewelry software LOL..For maya or 3ds max, HELL YEAH! It has so much more features like special fx, animation, texturing, rendering, modeling. Not to mention advanced modeling. Matrix does not even come close to 3ds max or Maya...

  • oh i understand. do you understand that you shouldn't post other peoples work as though it were your own? Next time get the consent of the content owner before doing this to make your own company look good. Even better, post your own works.

  • Oo... Shiny o-o

  • waw, so perfect

  • nice

  • PERFECT

  • wow!!! are you sure this isnt real? thats an amazing job

  • congratulations! perfect. I think you can do most anything regarding jewels!

  • Hey that's Kent West and Travis Serio's work.

You can see the original at asgvis dot com!

  • yes this is from V-Ray rendering

  • Not sure why someone other than Kent or Travis posted this? I notice that it is also on your home page?

  • shut up Cunt it's not that serious.

  • notice that we are aurthorize to post this, i just show you how good Vray can do. tell me where you can find that " i did it" !!!

  • no you, posted it on youtube and your home page "like" you did it. Give credit where credit is due. These are not your works.

  • do you understand what is distributor??

  • its hthpropyl fault too cuz he didn;t read ur info, but for effectivness u shud still post that reference as a text in ur video. Anyway i thank u for postin the video

  • @alcare4 I understand what a distributor is.

  • *speechless*

  • Is it real or is it a render??

    Amazing,must take forever.

  • it is just a Render

  • Had to be designed in Rhino first.

Looks great. I'd love to be able to do stuff like that.

  • did in Martix not Rhino

  • Not acording to Model designed in Rhino Ken West- Render by Travis Serio.

    Check it out at 3dcadjewelry,com

  • I thought I'd seen it somewhere before.

Model designed in Rhino Ken West- Render by Travis Serio.

    Check it out at 3dcadjewelry,com

  • yes it is, we are aurthorized distributor

  • somehwat too clean, amb occ pass for blocking some reflection and dropping hte diffuse would work nicely and some wear on the bump

  • c'mon don't lie to us!!! you just put a ring down and recorded it on a turn-table!!!!

lol, that looked fantastic man, keep up the good work!!! 5/5

  • haha... do stupid la...

  • VERY VERY Nice!!.It must have taken soo much time to render this.I mean i couldnt render something like that with my cpu.5*

  • Wow!!! great material

    So nice!!!

  • hey, i have maya 8.5 and ive been on vray homwpage but i cant find the link to download vray for maya, please help me T_T

  • you probably have it, you can turn it on in the settings under the plugin manager.

  • they are not giving downlink for maya

  • I had that expensive ring in my house for 9 seconds lol, so real, unbelievable. good job

  • What is vray? Is that gemvision?

  • vRay is a redenderer for 3D Studio Max. like a plugin?

  • VRay is a render plugin for Rhino and Sketch up and also 3D studio max

  • It also has a port to Cinema 4D.

  • gemvision is company name and their product matrix is coming with Vray.

  • jesucristo!

  • oh that is SO TASTY!

  • yeah thats why v-ray is THE best tool for rendering.

  • now thats a nice demonstration of vray's capabilties

  • Waw MAN
