is the first throw actually a hole? I don't want to lose my disc because I'm planning on going this summer. Did the first guy to throw actually find his disc?

Yea thats not Whistlers Bend. Whistlers Bend is in Roseburg and they do have a "Top Of The World" hole but this is not it. Willamette pass is a completely different course.
Great Northwest Open is held at Whistlers.

The 2007 Great Northwest Open was held at Whistler's Bend, OR.
The 2006 Great Northwest Open - highlights of which can be found in this video - was actually held at the course at Willamette Pass.
