  • i miss this one. saw it when i was little. when they had the old sign and show. this hotel rocked.

  • that was very good, i loved it

  • i was young at the time, but i liked the original, it was liek pirates of the caribean but almost better, till now T~T

  • This is way TO MUCH BETTER than the Sirens of the Ti show :(

  • I never got to see this show when I went to Vegas as a kid. I was too afraid of the noise and the explosions. Now that I see it for the first time on video, I wish I had seen it in real life.

  • The pirate show use to be awesome until they lost a few steps

  • I haven't watched this in a while, and even though I'm not physically in this particular video, I still get a kick out of it.

The fact that I did all (but one) of the voices for the show lived on for a decade though.

  • Thanks for this. Just saw the Sirens piece of shit last night and wanted a refund for my time. Way to fuck up a good thing TI. No one around me liked the show. Even the hard up fugly people were embarrassed by it. Completely Aweful - they need to go back to this style.

  • Thanks for the Orig.Version It was on my Las Vegas #2 of my Must see list.

For Las Vegas 1st timers. and now its not evan on the list.

  • THIS SHOW WAS KOOL BUT I LIKE THE NEW ONE ITS SEXIER

  • The old show was AWESOME! The new show with tits and ass just stunk up the town. I spent more money at T.I. in the old days. The best part was a front row view and getting splashed with water. The heat from the pyrotechnics made it worthwhile.

  • The original show was so much better! I was like 9 the first time i saw it.

  • This show was great! I think T.I. should go back to the old show and not the trashy version it has now.

  • That was back in the day when people were working. Those were the good ol days. Not anymore.

  • Yeah, I was unfortunate to see the new show and it was an awkward, sleazy mess. The final straw was when we heard the line "Hope the sirens and wenches got a little wet". The hotel and casino was so boring inside too, with absolutely no pirate theme remaining inside. Modernizing is one thing, but it seems that they sucked all the fun out of the place.

  • I've lived in Vegas since I was 6 months old. Treasure Island used to be amazing: It had the coolest arcade, baddest decor, and it was just a fun place to kick it. But the one thing that topped it off, was the Pirate show. I could watch that every day and not be tired of it. Then, just tonight, I saw the Siren show. I honestly was offended on how terrible it was. I nearly cried. I wish they Pirate cast only knew how they inspired my as a child. ILY & MY! <33

  • This is the real show. I don't know why they replaced this with the one they have now, which is not that good. Hopefully the new owner bring back it back.

  • I hate the new one... kind of :)

  • 6:18 is the stunt fall I have seen on read 180

  • I miss that show

now thay got some sex crap, but it's ok

  • this is cool iv been there

  • haha Before they "Sexed It Up" haha

  • I just wish there would be the old show again. =[[

  • @ceEw0lka I for that

  • I like both. Can't they schedule different days?

  • I first saw the original in 1998 and the "New and Improved" edition when I first moved to Vegas in 2007.

I love both the "Adult-like" and the more "Rated PG13" edition of this show. "Sirens of T.I." in my (MY) opinion is in equal level of the original.

    [Note]

This is only my opinion, you may disagree with my opinion, however that will never alter my view of this and the new & improved show. If you're compelled to give me a thumbs down, then go ahead and give me a thumbs down.

  • I admire your honesty.

  • the new show sux. I hope they change that real soon. To be honest, Everything in Vegas is sexed up. Its just not an ideal spot to take your kids if they are younger than 21

  • @FAD1 No Shit. Then take your kids to Disneyland. Never should children be brought to Vegas. Not only is it annoying to the adults that are trying to enjoy their time in the "adult playground", it's not fair to the child.

  • @SEeyore84 I have been going to Vegas ever since I was like 5 years old I remember the old shows. True Vegas was never a place where kids should be, but believe it or not, there were some entertainment for the whole family to enjoy. Now its all about adult entertainment. What ever, I've seen Vegas too many times. Same old thing gets tiring.

  • @SEeyore84 There is a place called the Adventure Dome here in Vegas. :| Last time I checked, that's pretty kid friendly to me.

  • It was an impressive show ... especially considering it was free. Got a kick out of the British ship resurfacing, and the captain still on the railing ... and spitting water.

Everyone needs to experience Las Vegas at least once ... an awesome wonder of lights and magic.

  • This version of the show is a total mast fest!

  • I hate the new Treasure Island show. It's skanky as hell.

  • I loved this show when I was younger! I always liked to see it when I was in Vegas on vacation. I think the new show sucks!!!!! Treasure Island should go back to the old show!!!

  • I agree.

  • I miss the original myself, especially since I voiced ALL but one of the voices for the show.

TRIVIA: Steve Wynn performed the voice of the British Captain.

I also played the role of Mr. Smythe (in the live show) when it opened for a few moths.

I also recreated the role in the movie-of-the-week of the same name.

  • Wow, that is SO cool!

  • I couldn't find a video of the show with me in it.

I opened Treasure Island in 1993 and performed in it until February of 1994.

  • When I was there - in December 1994 - it was unusually cold. I managed to miss the show (something I regret), but know it was going on. I've since read that the water could get as low as 4C, but that stunt performers like you would still dive in. Is that true? Amazing dedication if so.

  • I don't remember it getting that cold, but a lot of the them actually had wet suits under their costumes.

  • Cheats and wussies. They should have been prepared to suffer for their art. Many thanks for getting back to me with this.

  • @RAWTLNT Pirates! Pirates! Pirates! The sirens are pretty, I'll admit. But as a lady...I sure prefer this original show.

  • I bet TI loves how they changed the show... especially since Pirates of the Caribbean became popular!

  • aw, I wanna see this one. I saw the sirens last night. It was kinda funny, but I like this better

  • They were probably puching themselves in the face at Treasure Island for having changed the show after the popularity of the Disney Pirates of The Carribean franchise.

  • Yeah they probably wished they kept it now. If they did then the hotel would more popular.

  • well when i went they cancelled it.I was Lucky enough not to see the new one.Glad i didn't see it

  • I miss the old show as well; and the old sign. The two things they should never have touched. I walked in after watching the new show, spoke to a hotel manager and said..."it sucks, should I elaborate?" he said no and gave a nod of agreement. I miss the old sign most, skull and swords.

  • ughhhhh this show was my favorite when i was really litlle, we used to go to vegas when i was like 4 and i used to beg my dad to take us to see it like 4 times a day. when i was like 8 we went and it they took it out and i dam near cried... the new one is fukin gay. even now like i see this and i still get all inspired....oh well.....

  • I've seen this live maybe 20 times and I love it. I've also seen the Sirons and I would rate it below the Pirates. It's a little stupid, I've seen more skin on the streets and you got to love the Parot. See it again. To the videographer, don't use digtal zoom, get a boom mike and shoot one side at a time. Add them both to your editing software and go in and out from one track to the other, as the show goes. Otherwise a great job. Thanks.

  • They changed the show cause Vegas wants to scare all the kids away. BOOO!!

  • I saw the prevocative one... :P

  • I saw this Orig. one 10 years ago. I loved it. I just got back from Las Vegas yesterday. The new show was not that great. They should have been called the PussyCat Dolls of the sea or something. My husband who visited LV for 1st time was dissapointed with the show and the hotel too, he was hoping the pirate theme hotel and attractions.

  • even us locals miss the old pirate show... it was campy as hell but that made it great.. lol..

now we have to put up with the new fruity sirens show..

  • Please keep this on here I miss this show so much I saw the Sirens show and I swear il never see it again. It was God Aweful and not as much fun as this show was and is or will ever be this show had the real Spirit of Piracy, which everyone knows and enjoys.

I was wondering why it had changed. I really miss it and wish that they would bring it back.

  • i just saw the new one yesterday

  • I miss the original pirate show, I remember my cousin and I saw it so many times when we were in Vegas. Even one of the pirates showed us around, it was awsome.

  • Awesome. Back in the good old days.

  • I wish I could of seen the original in person.

I won't go see the new one after all the reviews I've heard.

  • I hate the new Sirens show too... But MGM took over all of Steve Wynns old properties, and with Steve Wynn out of the picture, MGM went ahead and cheapened everything! Even changed the name of Treasure Island to TI! LOL Wonder what they'll do to the Bellagio to make it suck too...

  • Fortunately I was able to see this show before they changed it.

  • one of the girls that was in the new crew.was on american Idol...her neme was Makala Gordon.

  • i miss this show.

  • this one looks so cool. unfortunately, i missed it.

  • I havent seen this one so thanks! The new one is cool but it is called Sirens I think so the clue to its' content is in the title!

  • Have yet to see the new version... but everyone I've talked to says yeah, it's pretty bad!

BTW, before anyone gets too harsh over the quality of this video, let me just point out I shot the whole thing by holding the camera over my head and peering through an angled viewfinder screen!

  • I miss this show. I hate the new one, it is really bad.
