Can anyone tell me what the dinosaur one is called? I know I've seen it before, especially since I've been a dinosaur fanatic since I was little, and I remember the movie itself, but I can't remember the title.
Best of luck to you, then. I, too, have become less enthusiastic about CGI being utilized in nearly every film I watch at either home or the theatre. Although CGI is a cheaper, faster type of special effects technology, it quickly loses its luster when applied in the majority of situations. There has got to be a way for puppets, makeup, prosthetics, animatronics, practical effects, go-motion animation, and even hand-drawn animation to make a significant comeback.
Funny how all the big name directors lost all their integrity and started to use the cheaper ALWAYS less real looking CGI and then brainwash children into thinking it looks more real because it's new. I vow when I become a director I will always use the best physical effects I can and use CGI only for impossibilities or emergencies.
To be perfectly honest, you're wrong. The bigname directors haven't lost their integrity, and the "cheaper ALWAYS less real looking" CGI they use nowadays is neither cheap or fake-looking (if done right). It's an expensive process of art that you have to work extensively on to make it look as photorealistic as possible.

10:20 What is this movie? An alien movie? Or the Tremors trilogy?
hentesgyik95 2 months ago
@hentesgyik95
it's the test design footage for Tremors 2.
It's test animations for The Shriekers you see in the movie.
But, as you can tell, it's an early design, as it's entirely different from the final design.
