How come nobody listens? This truck is on air and it hauls a 17,000lb backhoe. It does work, but it also can play. Trucks don't have to go off road to play, either. It can haul more than anything lifted, too. Also, semi-trucks run on air and they can handle more weight than leaf-springs and get a better ride.

Not to mention, hauling any load, the only way you are going to get a level ride is with adjustable suspension. A truck without air ride, will sag with a heavy load, and ride high when not loaded.
