On June 25, SE made six PS1 classics available for download on the Japanese PS Store. One of these classics is Xenogears. The other five titles are Einhander, Astronoka, Rakugaki Showtime, Raystorm, and Fighters Impact.
So far, 12 titles have been planned for release. These 6 are just the first half.
Sadly, there are no known plans to make any of these games available on the US or European PS Stores.
Well, these games can also be put onto the PSP using a PC. I don't have a PS3, so this is the method I use. The middleman will get cut out of the picture... eventually.
Anyways, the selection IS rather limitted in the US. Also, the lack of PSN cards has left me to rely solely on Visa gift cards.
...I effing know that. I only mentioned the official VS eboot here because it seemed appropriate. I was sort of trying to say "now we don't have to use cfw for several of Square's PS1 games."
Seriously, how could I have not known that this was cfw. For starters, this video was posted two years ago, and the official VS eboot came out one year ago. I wasn't gonna think a year old video showed off the new eboot. Also, this eboot doesn't resemble the official ones available on the PS Store.
where can i download this?? pleeeeeaaaasseeee..

Well, it seems as though SE has finally decided to embrace the PS Store.
Here's to hoping that VS will become downloadable in Japan, America, and Europe.

Oh I see. So it was in japan.. Man the PS Store in the US is very poor. They don't have a good selection of titles.
What I hate the most is that you need a PS3 to get these games into the PSP. Mind you I have a PS3, but still.. :/
Whoo hoo for eboots~ lol
