It is a pity Madan Mohan didnt use Kishore Kumar for this song. I always fast forward this song whenever I watch Mausam. A little blemish in an almost perfect movie.

Thank goodness MM didn't use Kishore for this song, as the song would have been ruined. The movie was excellent, no blemish at all.

Sanjeev loves Sharmila (daughter of a gaav ka vaidya). They sing, they dance, Sanjeev promises ot goto city and marry her on return. never returns (not sure why not...studying for doctor andgets caught up int i or something). sharmila's uncle takes adv of poverty and forces her into prost. years pass, daughter of sharmila (heretofore called sharmila) is vibrant and happy in her life as a pros.

Sanjeev stumbles across her and is nonplussed. Comes ot know shes his duaghter and decided to take her away. Intentions clash, parvarish clash, lots of drama and finally she accepts him as ger father. The story, moviing as it is, is nothing compared ot the acting prowess...sheer brilliance.
